Thinking about coming down around mid-Jan to get out of the MN cold and relax and grind a bit.

Anyone have any leads for beach hostels or does anyone have an open spot close by the water? Pretty much hoping to come down and just chill for 10 days.

think I'm making a spur of the moment trip to Playa tomorrow with my finance and her Mom. Will decide in the next hour, any location/hotel recommendations?

part of the trip's purpose will be to decide if I want to do a grinding stint there later in 2014.

heh, looks like literally everything is booked (that is near 5th av where I'm told is the place to go) so this last minute trip is probably off

(unless someone wants to sublet for 3 days, have references, PM me etc)

Hey all. I'm a Canadian looking to spend about Feb-April someplace hot, wouldn't mind surfing, and wouldn't mind being able to pick up good-looking women. Is PDC expensive? What would a furnished place cost for 3 months?

Most important, can anyone recommend a website that offers these services?

Thinking of moving here in maybe a few months, found these websites for those wanting to know how much different places cost. They are in Spanish but Google translate on chrome works perfectly

Flying into Cancun on the 15th, whats the easiest way to get down to playa? Cab it I assume, I have very little spanish skills but I assume i'll be fine getting around in cancun, and down to playa eh?

I'm meeting some friends in Playa and we're going to do a bunch of traveling in southern Mexico and over to the west coast, we're going to be spending a handful of days in Playa and Tulum, and suggestions on what to check out while in town?

ADO bus from the airport is easy. Just buy ticket at the airport.
Collectives to and from Tulum from Playa is cheap, easy and fun.
The ruins on the water in Tulum are cool.
