Not if you are prescribed obv. fwiw I've flown around a bunch all over world and U.S. with about 10-15 pills ( not prescribed) just mixed in with tylenol or advil etc. As long as you don't have mass amounts you should be fine. Also, they don't have adderall in Mexico, but they do have ritalin if you are interested in that.

how have the electricity bills been so far? are people gonna stay in playa for the summer?

electricity bills going to vary depending on where you live alot. my last one was 3k+ pesos for 2 months I dont use ac either but I dont live in one of the cheaper electricity areas

I dont see how you are paying so much. I stayed in a 2 story condo 2 blocks from 5th and walmart and ran the A/C like 2-3 hours a day and only paid 1400 pesos for the 2 months. Also had fans on 24/7, computerand TV on a lot. We also cooked a lot too.

Our electric bill is going to be huge IMO...I'm an AC junkie & grind 50ish hours a week. Moving to a new place so should have a bill soon.

Also, I know most of the information on playa skimps on the dating/night life so I'll give you the quick rundown. Clubs are open late; some till 8am. Beach clubs like Mamitas and Indigo are the best places to meet people during the day. Plus, you can't beat $18 massages. Check with your hotel/apt complex when booking, you may be entitled to free access to a beach club or two depending on where you stay.

8 out of 10 women you see down here are drop dead and eager. they have no shame or fear in their approach. if you're single and split between playa and someplace like costa rica, playa is the clear choice.

I'm looking to move here in the next couple weeks. I've started emailing realtors and have found a couple condos by the beach and center for reasonable prices. Easy. If you go to Bancomer, they have an English speaker who will set up your account for you, as well as show you how to use the online banking (which is all in spanish, but there is even an English guide on their website that walks you through all the bells and whistles in the online banking) and tell you everything you need to know about wires and deposits, etc. Bank wires in and out are not a problem.
