guru witnessed it. They certainly could have been any cartel I suppose, but when he was walking back into the complex, our doorman stopped him and pointed out the group. The doorman is the one that said they were Zetas, so maybe he was guessing but I imagine he knows what is up with that kind of stuff, maybe not though

There's a pretty solid group of guys down here, with more moving almost every week it seems. Not sure about any poker 'houses' with any spots available though.

Yeah Im staying in PDC. I have a one bedroom at the moment, so no extra room. BTW for anyone looking to move down here, or anyone who is a little overwhelmed/nervous, I can vouch for a relocation service geared towards poker players specifically. They get you from the airport,find you a place, help you setup your bank account and give you all the documents to get back on Stars or any other pokersite. It's a really good deal. (Like $300 USD). Makes your life so much easier and takes away the stress of the unknown.

Anyone is welcome to PM me about it, and I'll give you the contact info for them.

Non existent unless you're talking about kite surfing.

Actually, there is some small surf on the windward side of Isla Cozumel, but not worth the 1.5 hours it would take to get there.

this is a total rip off. it's redic easy to set up an apartment and bank acct w/o speaking a word of spanish in pdc. bancomer's preferred customer unit (2 offices in playa) is entirely devoted to opening bank accts to english speaking expats.

how do you know this business well enough to "vouch" for its worth? i've been here for 7 months and have never heard about it. this is a completely unnecessary business in playa.
