Looks like things are shaping up nicely for me to move down there sometime mid February. I'll have a place to crash when I get there, but will be looking for a more permanent place after I arrive. I'll be looking at 1 BRs, but if anyone there's anyone down there now (or anyone who reads this thread and knows of other players down there) who has a 2BR but is currently living by themselves [& has an empty BR], I'd be open to splitting rent for a couple of months (Mar/Apr) while I settle in to PDC. Def picked the nut worse time to come down if you dont like to many tourist. PDC is alot more calm ,but with new years/BPM just happening its basically insane down here for the moment. I'm sure it will be less hectic soon. Also, your def doing it wrong if you dont like it down here, you'll have to meet up with us n the other poker dudes for some beers sometime.

I just moved down here a week ago all the way from Belgium. Here with 6 guys total(americans mostly). We stayed at Mayan Palace which was a blast. Now we found two great 3br condos in the same building. What do you guys recommend to use for internet service and phone service? Ive heard usb sticks are the nuts?

I'm currently at PCA but if anyone wants to meet up with us hit me up on skype (felixvdp). I'm always down to meet other people.

Cablemas has a 10mb connection that seems pretty good AFAIK.

I was reading and found out TotalPLay has a 100mb connection, but I am yet to find out if they have that here in PDC, might just be in Mexico City.

I made it! Must admit I'm in a little bit of awe/culture shock, so I'd love to meet up with some of you kids and see how you navigate the lands. Hopefully tomorrow I can get my house hunting going! Let me know if anyone is going out today/this week. I'm starving right now!

Texas Burger Co was decent for its burgers. Also is there a Skype group? Rosarito had a really good group of grinders that did things daily, I figured if the communtiy keeps growing it would be similar to that. Now one of you need to become a PS pro so we can have Pokerstar dinners here!

that's amore is ok, they serve their red wines cold which is super wtf (happened at another place too, maybe thats just mexican thing idk)

buddies is close to texas burger co I think, they dont have amazing food or anything but it is cheap, breakfast is pretty legit

there is also a really good restaurant I ate at with my family on 5th and just past 38th...maybe between 40th and 42...I think it had coco it's name but will have to further investigate next time im in that area, which should be tomorrow
