I'm a big fan of the States personally but you have to realize the Quebec is a hot bed of anti-US sentiment.

Whaaaaaaat. Tuesday is best day, and cafe campus is..not great, imo. Best place is Foufounes Electrique! 3$ cover, 5$ pitchers, 3 floors, a terrace, pool tables, foosball tables, dance floor that randomly turns into a mosh pit, sick music, and PACKED.

yeah we like foufs, we decided to not go there this past tuesday, a few places are good but tuesday is dead as a whole besides most of those spots mentioned

my b on flaking last night..laid down for a half hour and obv slept through..roommates' sleep schedule is killing me, might have to start looking for another place

Yeah I agree, but idk...foufs is just better than most places, even most of the thurs-sat places, unless you like really upscale stuff. Winnies is alright on tuesday too, generally has a pretty big lineup though.

I'm not a big bball player, but anyone down for some squash or tennis? For squash we can play at the downtown YMCA (i have guest passes), tennis there are nice courts in Parc Mont-Royal.

It's pretty easy to pick up, especially if you've played any other racquet sports. I just took a few private lessons and joined a summer league. The Y is pretty nice yeah, and convenient right next to the metro, although like most cookie-cutter gyms it's lacking in serious weightlifting equipment.
