I can get away for 2 months, and was thinking of really learning Spanish and being down there would give me that push. Really focus on it for 2 months.
But I see so many options... University/semi-university/hostel/private classes... Hard to tell anything apart as they all have lousy descriptions. Heck, given the monthly incomes for teachers, maybe even hire a real teacher full time for 2 months?
my plan is to never speak a word of english, and enroll in a class.
I highly suggest this ^
Currently I watch spanish movies, am listening to pimsleur 3
However, I work in online tech support so I would possibly need up to 2 ISPs, and a phone data plan with wifi hotspot via the sim in my phone, and possibly a UPS for the modems, I already have laptop and extra battery and usb powersource for the phone. And to find an apartment or grinding house and get all this up and running in 4 to 6 days, do yall think this is possible? I could only take a few days off work for the relocation from the US my income would be a guranteed 3k per month minimum if I could do that successfully, if I lost that job trying this unsuccessfully I would only have a guranteed minimum income of 1k per month
I would love to move to Medellin, can yall please advise?
