I was just there for a weekend. Flying was pretty cheap, i think something like 150 USD round trip.

In Chengdu there's this totally random street where there are little shops with an open door (you can just look/walk in), where like 4-6 attractive young Chinese bitchy looking high heeled girls are just sleeping/sitting/waiting. I always wonder what they do. I'd guess they're prostitutes, but it's a weird sight for a hooker to be sitting there with her friends in between a grocery store and a hairdresser at 9PM.
