Hey guys I would like to have more information about the live cash games in Colombia. Stakes, rake, number of tables running normally, level of skills of the players...please let me know!

Hey, 3 of us are considering to move to Bogota for a 3-6 months. Anyone living there that could add me to skype(PM) or a Bogota skype chat if there is one.
Thanks

Hi, noticed this thread has kind of died recently which is a shame.

Myself and 5 other poker players are heading to Bogota for 6 months , June - Dec this year, was just wondering what the easiest way to sort accommodation would be?

Hopefully someone out there still lurking who could offer some advice, would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Hey guys, didn't check the thread for a while. if you want to be added to the Bogota chat send me a PM with you skype. there are like 5 guys approx now.

@thegreatyan I would recommend Bogota over Panama. Panama is very expensive, hot and almost no pokerplayers there as far as i know. we have a skype group and communicate through that or facebook / whatsapp.

@ there is max 300nl live which only runs in the weekend. rest of the days its more like 100-200 nl. in medellin they have some cashgames too i think. ask in the medellin chat for that.

@galejziooo come to bogota man. i will send you my skype and add you to the bogota chat. a few cool pokerguys now in Bogota . I am not there myself right now but the guys go for dinners / nights out.

@you spud, i would start with airbnb/ hotel for a few days when you arrive and meet a real estate agent and visit a few places. you will likely need a guarantee of by a Colombian national for a lease, but the real estate agent can perhaps help you that (or paying 6months upfront or so). i will pm you my skype and i can add you to the Bogota chat. that should help a lot =) The guys there can help you with real estate contacts.

Bogota is still a nice option!

It's been months since i've been in the area. The rake in the casino's is unbeatable. 10% uncapped and the regs were nits

Hello there,

i'm coming to Bogota next month (i'm French but living in NZ), how are the regular games overthere ? How many tables usually open ? Is there a way I could get in touch with the 2+2 regulars overthere ?

Cheers

Hi @KrAAkerz!
I'm sorry I went off the radar the past months (been quite busy with some freelance project outside of poker). I'll actually come end of September (27th to be accurated) so I hope that community still exists!
Here is my email for skype : arnaud.phommasone@gmail.com

I hope everyone is ok (with what happened to Bogota)

Are there more people in Bogota now or Medellin? Both threads have been dead lately. I'll be moving to Medellin next year, but will probably visit Bogota often.

Visiting Bogota for 10 days if anyone knows where to find some live holdem it would be appreciated. I checked out 2 casinos the Luckia and the Rock nJazz (old hardrock). Nothing at either but Luckia said that poker should be back middle of February.

Well I can't say about now-a-days probably they are all closed, but here is some info from my bogota trip a few years ago.

luckia has the largest poker room in bogota. Casino New York in Centro Comercial Calima had a nice room as well, multiple tables. They had an interesting rule when I was there, if you are transferring from 2/5 to 1/2 you have to keep your stack, even in the case of a broken game.

They had one table @ Carribean Casino Center. Wild game, although it was very low stakes. I think 1k/2k.

There was another room in a casino at Centro Comercial Grand Estacion. I think it was a Broadway casino. They had 1k/2k and 2k/5k.

i recommend contacting this page
