nothing big happened, just chilled after flight and at night Ive met my cousin&his gf overhere, who is on his worldjourney right now (lowbudget).
We drank alot and were pretty ****faced. I didnt see him for 7 years, and finally met him on the other side of the world.. Kinda funny coincidence..

We just went sleep 11am, so today we slept till 4pm, and went our to grab some food and chilling again. In the evening we saw the nl100 CG tables were pretty soft and fishy, so we started a nl100 FR cg session (ive also played few tourneys).

We just finished playing, was a pretty long session ...we didnt wanna leave tables until all fish is broke

my small tourney session wasnt that nice, FT bubbled a 8$ turbo deep for 12$, first was 300$ ...and 28th bubbled 22$ lightning 6max, first was 900$...so kinda unlucky in mtts

However, my mtt session finished at -$120 and i was down to 1050$ BR

The CG session (as u can expect) went out pretty nice, coz of super nice soft tables.
Obv my BR isnt enough for NL100 10max, but i always take a shot in it, once tables are very soft and most of the times sessions turn out very profitable, as tonight. Also if I should broke or something, im able to reload. So its not like my last money and i have to keep tight BRM



BR at $1445 now

we wanted to drive and look for housed today, but since its already 5:25am we might end up ****** our sleepschedule and sleep too long again. But we'll see.

Do you have any experience staying at Hua Hin? I haven`t been to Thailand before but my research told me that this could be a good place to grind. Very quiet place and not much nightlife, but ok beaches.

I thought avoiding nightlife-places is maybe the best for me. I just want to grind, excercise and focus on grinding.

at first i gonna answer the questions and than do a 2nd long post with updates, appartment pics etc.. soo..

Its just my BR on my 888 account, if i broke it, i still can reload around $10k ...But i give my best to not go broke. If i wasnt able to reload, i wouldnt play nl100 ...even if its fullring and fishy tables. Since im not scared to go broke, i join the nl100 FR tables, if crazy fish sitting there.

Our budget was 25k Baht / month, we were kinda lucky, that we found our place after just 2-3 days searching around here in Phuket. We drove with our scooter and looked out for "house/app for rent" signs.
But its not a problem to find a house down in south Phuket for around 15k Baht / month with 2 bedrooms and maybe even a common pool (if u get lucky and good in negotiating)

for 1 person id say ull find a nice condo with common pool for 6-8k/month (but itll be kinda above avrg condo..) if u dont have any claims, u might find one for 4-5k

food here... well so far we only eat fried rice for 50baht (1.2€) and do barbecues, so far pretty cheap..

We dont have any, but saw houses at hua hin, also heard its a nice quiet area. But never been there before. We also here for grinding, tried to find quiet place, but also with good nightlife within ~30min taxi, if we need to (but we noticed, the more u stay here for grinding, the more u want to go out after ur sessions, at least for 2-3 hours in bar or something..). We also didnt wanna have alot of tourists. So Naiharn and Rawai were nice places to stay. Ofc we still see few farangs here and there, but if we drive to next place (Kata), u see like 80% of all ppl are tourists. In Rawai/Naiharn its more like 10-20% max

last few days were pretty fcked up, wasnt in the mood for the blog. Going through rough downswing on highlimits in CG. But well, ill start from the beginning on.. At first ill show you our grinding living room, which kinda looks like that. Now we have moved the fan and relocated small stuff, but the setup still the same:





I just noticed we only have a video of the whole appartment, but its crappy ...so ill try to make some photos of our whole 160qm appartment. Its located in Rawai, somewhere around here:

also a common pool, but well ...so far we are the only one who using it lol



you cant see it on this picture, but topleft corner of the pool ...u can actually chill there with a beer or cup of coffee and enjoy the sea view from the pool, which is kinda nice to have after a session or in the morning

So the deal we've got for that nice appartment & location: 28k baht/month (last month we only stay 2weeks and pay 20k for last month), in price incl.: 2x month cleaning, bed sheets, fast solid wifi internet and actually a barbecue, which we got as an excuse, coz of a deal we've made at first with handshakes, and on next day owner spoke to his wife and she wasnt okay with made deal and we had to make a new one lol ...but well, new one wasnt much worse, so it was fine for us. so its 28k + electricity. 4k smart tv, 3 air cons, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1bath, 2nd bath without shower. I think thats a good deal for that appartment & location, since we rent it "only" for 5months actually most of the time during high season. Normal price was 35k/month for 6months rent. So we got down to 28k and got some extras.
Owner is an ~50ish old american funny nice guy, and other 2-3 neighbors we have around here are italian, and japanese ppl, all of them nice guys, but 40yrs+

So that was it about the appartment and ****, whats about poker...

well we had guests around here till 25th sept, so rarely played till that day. We had few sessions and they went really well, after around 5-6 CG sessions (few mtts) on NL100/NL200 FR, i was up 1k, mate was up 2.5k which is super nice. Things gone bad few days ago when we jumped into nl400, nl600 fullring...



Graph shows only CG since the 14th sept 2017... after 5.3k hands I was highpeek, and afterwards is what happened in last 3 days.

It started with a crazy super fish, who we played against on nl100, and we saw him on nl600 table, and managed to get a seat there. Since its pretty expensive for us to play nl600, ive sold 50% action and sat down with 300$ stack. So eff. playing with 150$ on my own and 50bb stack, which was okay with this crazy fish. Thats how we played most of the time on nl400-nl600. The one, who was fast enough to get a seat, when fish sat there, was playing and other one had 50% action.

And these hands werent the craziest one... 74s u might say is an okay bluff ,yea ..but this guy had 100% turnbet, 100% riverbet over 200+ hands with stats of something like 80/60/15... and once he only cbet&barreled 2/3 or potsized... so once u flop ur toppair, u had to go with it ...They folded, if u raised them ...thats why calling down was best way to get their money.. But well, now u know they barreled 100% of all times turn&river, got called and showed KQo high on river, when runout was something like 6s7d9sTs3c

other regs just called them down with A9o on these kind of boards ...my actual holding, which u gonna see was already pretty premium and for guys who interested to see these "bad beats", they can look ..others dont flame and just stfu Its not like its hard for us to handle downswings or so, but 3 hands happened in 40-60minutes, and one of the hands he had 2.5% on flop, other hand he had 1.5% on flop and 3rd one 9% on flop... he barreled pot all 3 of them and made the miracle runner runners lol

and please, dont try to "analyse" these hands. Ofc its not "+EV" or whatsoever to call pre with K4s and call down 100bb, and its not the way we usually play. Its just adjustments we made for the super crazy fish, and as u can see very profitable adjustments, if u dont run like a b!tch (as he would barrel allin river, also if he misses ...he did that alot vs others)
I also dont limp&shove AQ normally, but when ppl call ya with T3s pre, than i go for the most value line.

so actually on high peek I was up to 2.55k, yesterday all way down to 800 on worst and went up to 1.35k when hands like AQ finally held up pre, and top2 didnt get sucked out by bottom to on river, when u move 80% of stack allin on turn lol. I wouldnt even mention this all, if it happened on nl50 or something, just a funny coincidence, that we go for highlimit, coz of high fish, and this **** happenes so often in short timeperiod only on highlimits. (ofc, the worse the player, the more often ull see suckouts, since he gonna be more often allin with worse.. but well, im sure u guys know what i mean haha)

Mate was around 2.5k+ and in last 3 days lost all of this profit he made in thailand so far. So pretty depressing run we had. We hope it gonna end soon..

Im still not sure what sleeping schedule i shoul take ..Actually planned on MTTs micros sessions... Waking up at 5-6am and start grinding the EU night schedule, but now i saw all this crazy CG fish, which joins tables at 2-3am thai time, and stay up to 7-8am ...so ive decided to give that a try and play CG ...gonna try to stand up something like 2am, and go sleep at 6-8pm or so. Not sure if ill able to do this, but ill find out haha

Finished session, quick update since tourneys ran well.

shipped 30$ deepstack and 2nd in 12$ tourney.
CG had 80$+

BR boosted back to 2185$ (i always gonna write "BR", what i mean is my poker ballance on 888, not "actual" BR ...which would be $6k more i could reload, if i go broke. So dont ask why i play nl100 or nl600 with shortstack and sold action... most of the time i have up to nl200 on my own, which is fine with "virtual" 8k BR and 40 buyins on fullring, if very weak players playing there...)





not sure if i gonna play again today, maybe CG if i see crazy players...

we think so too, we saw much worse places for same money in worse locations, we love our place overhere.. as mentioned, more picture come later

Right now im struggling with the schedule i should play... in germany i used to play mtt sessions starting 9-11pm.. which would be overhere 2-4am -.-

In last few days i noticed cash game tables were very juicy at this time too, so i decided to try this schedule.

At least for october ill try out something like „stand up midnight, go sleep 4pm“. Later i gonna see, i think if u want softer playerpool overall, u have to play at night/morning

haha thx, yea well there are updates, but since i was&am still pretty mad and upset, didnt feel like posting anything. I kept trying to get some money out of NL400&NL600 fullring fish and dropped BR back to 1k... Miserable run continues, ill show u some hands, but dont have anything big or really interesting. It was NL600 and i just was opening and missing flop, cbetting and folding turn... or calling opens (only with fish involved), flopped super draws and all of them bicked... but if u get these spots like 20 times on NL600 and never hit, u just gonna drop 600$ and more...

Started with this allin, which was super easy vs that guy, he made similar **** with 97o and 60bb stack ...so 99 was just a "high five hand" to get it in vs him ...but with my run, he just gets his value range in that spot lol (oh and just the hand before, he lost 150bb pot and was down from 1k stack ...so even more looked like a tiltraise...)

So yea, that was kinda summery of my NL600 fun yesterday.. Ive won a few little pots obv, on NL200 broked one fish for 100bb ...nl100 had 300$+, but on nl600 it was -1.4k

so yea, very nice session, no big pots as u can see ...well only the first 2 hands, but most of it were these kinda stupid smallish pots, my graph of the session is just a straight line into minus. Nothing i could do

i wont do the hand analyse stuff, but i played them good with the fish involved (except the KTs turn fold). Thats totally different play, what i usually play. If there is zero foldequity, because fish calls with Ax high gutshot on potsize turn push, im not pushing Jhigh flushdraw IP... fish also is calling river pushes, even if they r super obvious that my draw got there �� So its just less variance in taking free rivers and push than. Its a completely non aggro passive gameplay, which i did coz of guanglords stats and way of play. U cant take same lines vs sticky crazy herocalling fish, like u would do vs regs. Would be waste of money, if u try to to jam FDs on turn, when guy gonna call ya with A high gutshot or something.

Didnt wanna start any hand analyse, just wanted to show why i dropped that ammount of money. yesterday lost flip vs fish who called cold 4bet shove on nl200 with 22, and held up vs my AKs, lost QQ vs AJo on J high flop in 4bet pot vs fish allin flop and also KK on J8xx board, turn allin, river A and lost vs A8 sticly fish... its just terrible badrun. I managed to finish session yesterday break even, but if id win flip and hold these two better hands, id been 900$+. Waiting for at least 1 good-/„okay“run day, and im easily 1k+

small updates from yesterday and todays sessions..

on 888:

had huge opportunities on sunday mtt session..

went deep in the Dozen (900$ for first, but busted around 20th..)

5$ deepstack, was 600$ on top, busted somewhere top18 lol

20k gtd Mega Dozen (12$ buyin), was 4k on top, ran with 77 vs KK 20bb 3bet shove from BB, vs CO chipleader open ...he obv had KK, and i was out around 30th ...sigh

And finally 22$ mini mega deep, with 6.6k for first, busted around 40th with 40bb... was onetabling and was pretty tired, here was the final hand (didnt have any timebank left, and wasnt sure to check or to jam on turn ...because of no timebank jammed and gg... sigh)

started there with 500€ BR, had some tourneys, mincashed in 3 of them and was 50$ down in tourneys, than played a bit of zoom 6max NL25&nl50 ...wasnt that great, made something around 140$+ there and finally tried out some HU cash game

most of players just sat out, once i came to table and didnt want to play.
finally i found one guy, who played vs me. We were playing on 4 tables to 1-2 hours, we played until i had 6-8 stacks from him and broke him on all 4 tables and he left, afterwards had 2 other guys in HU, had 3 tables and made a bit more money. I ran good, but also was able to extract max value with made hands, and lose min. when was behind



BR on party doubled up to €1k, i think thats it for today. Prob gonna chill and watch some vids on RIO.

quick update, just finished 888 6max CG session, tables were nice so i went for it, u can see on graph that tables were in the beginning amazing, and at the end BE stretch and i left, since only regs were playing.



BR up to 970$, today no MTTs, just zoom and HU cg on party

didnt update last few days, since im 12h+ grinding every day till monday.
Im on my (so far) biggest CG downswings ever. If you see my graph (50k hands since 15th oct) u might think im just a fish lol



this is partypoker fastforward NL50 6max CG.
yesterday i already was so desperate, that i asked mate to do small HH review of the session i had, to see if i maybe have something terribly wrong in my game... But my game still okay, maybe not A+, but somewhere between B+ and A-...

just get these 15-20% suckers on turn allins, and i cant do anything about it. Im struggling hard right now, and Im forced to go on playing this fastforward CG until monday, because there is a rakerace leaderboard promo on partypoker and i go for top3 ranks. It officially started on 12th, but i noticed it just on 15th and lost 3days... thats why im grinding everyday like sh*t to catch on. I am already 8th:

So yea, thats the reason i cant stop playing that ****, even on my worst downswings ever. This is incredible, like 50BI drop in 50k hands in 3days, so f*cked. Ive played also zoom poker on 888 and had few hundred thousends of hands there, and was a winning player always, have solid graphs there. So i try to remember this and hope the downswing goes away.

I obv had some tilt plays, id say out of these 50 stacks ive lost, i might have been tiltin 10 of them away, which i could have saved, if id be nonemotional robot guy, who would be able to play A++ game even on worst streak in his last 4-5 years ....but im not, i def make breaks, when i tilt 5bet shove KJs for resteal or something pre and get called by some premium pocket. So its not that huge deal to me. Also its not like super terrible tilt to 5bet shove light pre in spots, where i thought there might be a chance the cold 4better bluffs. But well, it wasnt a game, that id usually play, so after these jams, make 15min break and than continue playing normal until next 5 suckouts crush me.


However, i think i should be able to finish the rake race 3rd in ranking list, which means $2.25k (+$215 & $109 mtt tickets) and around $1.5k rakeback on PP account this week. So this means, if ill able to finish this downswing with less than 3.75k losses, ill get out here BE and make profit with 324$ worth in tickets.

Right now ive lost all my winnings i had on PP, and deposit €1k more. So right now im -€1.5k there, leaves me another €1.5k which i can drop, to finish this **** break even. And who knows, maybe tonight things turn around and i finally get a normal run in these games...
