Oh **** dragonara sucks. They play holdem 1/2 nothing else. Thez don't have card mix machines and the dealers r slow.
But paceville looks reallz nice to party

Meh, it's got some charm to it.

Nice to just go there and play for fun every now and then, but deff not a grinding spot I guess.

You also have another casino that is really close, Portomaso. That's where they usually have Malta poker open etc. and it's a bit more exclusive I guess. Dress code and stuff, at Dragonara noone really cares.

I was at the Portomaso yesterday, it has no dresscode, i was there in a tshirt, sneakers and blue jeans.

Atleast they got a 2/4 game and not 1/2 only.

But the RAKE IS UNBELIEVABLE HIGH.
it is 3-4% but max is 75€, whoever beats that rake is a genius, i dont think there is a chance you can play there regularly and make money.
The most ridiculous thing is, 1400-1500 -> 50€ rake, 1501 and up -> 75€ rake.
So if you take home a pot of 1550, you pay like 5% rake!!!

Anyone knows how much the rake at Dragonara is?

so I'm thinking about moving to malta at the end of the year. how much do you guys spend on rent and other expenses per month? do you all play online poker or are there any juicy casinos around? how is the internet-infrastructure?
