Can someone provide information on them ?

In my last visit in Europe (London) I was disappointing from the gentleman clubs there as the girls did not allow touch her at all.
Is the same case in Malta ?

Will be happy to here also any other info about girls there but mainly about the strip clubs

Cheers
Clubs are definitely WORSE than in london. If you still wanna give it a try then alternating between Steam and DejaVu is your best bet. Stay away from others and take cash and cash only and under no circumstances pay for anything w creditcard. Peaze

I'm not sure regarding advantages of a phone/internet/TV bundle, but I'm impressed with Vodafone's "Internet at Home" solution. It uses 4G (no setup work required; you just plug it into an electrical outlet and are good to go (and can even take it with you to other places)).

I have had it for a month now, and it has been super fast, and more reliable than the Melita broadband that I used a while ago.

I wonder how can they be worse comparing to London as in the gentleman club there (near leiscter square) I paid 60£ for "private dance" in which I can't even touch the girl

Girls in london likely better, cleaner, less chance to get scammed, etc.
Malta overall likely cheaper and moar stuff you can do to them. Cant really give u any details bc i dont pay for girls (at least not in europe) and i only used to go to those places to chill or buy gear.
But after what you wrote youll likely will enjoy those in malta moar than those in london

Hi,

I used Frank Salt to find my place (tried also Dhalia but no luck with them). However I think it's also based on luck depending on which agent you will get. Also, some of the agencies are likely to show you the same appartments so don't sweat it too much. Contact 2-3 agencies, give them your criteria and take it from there.

Melita (internet) has been quite stable for me, don't have experience with other ISPs. As far as I know their melita sports tv bundle has bundesliga so if you don't want to go for other solutions (i.e dreambox etc) then Melita is your best bet.

Gyms no idea, a friend of mine says Hilton is pretty good, however pretty far from where you plan to live...?

yeah, melita has bundesliga, Go has champions league + premier league. pretty close.

i'll check out Kinetika gym today, the website looks pretty nice. thanks for your help

CL and Premier League matches are easy to find in pubs / cafes. If you are interested in everything, go for Bundesliga at home.

Can someone provide information about the policy in malta Airport regarding the amount of cash allowed to bring into malta And the amount allowed to take out ?
For traveller who has passport not from the Europe union

I understood it is 10k euros in and out; but this sound very little to me especially if you come to play poker

Its an international law so how do you think malta is going to overcome this?!

No offence but poast made me giggle quite abit

As far as I know you can travel with up to 10k without declaring it. If you declare it before your flight you can travel with even more (obv you might be asked further questions about how you acquired that money etc)... I haven't tried the 2nd option so cannot help further, if you need credible information you can call the airport or your airline...

Finally, to end this conversation, strip clubs in Malta are mediocre at best. I've never been but from what I've been told: Private lapdances with "not enough action" compared to what you're paying. Obviously if you are willing to spend enough money you will get the action you want. To sum up, if you are coming to Malta solely for this reason cancel your trip and go to an eastern European country, S. America or Thailand lol.

Please don't ask me follow-up questions on this, I will not reply .

Im not aware of any countries where you allowed to bring in more than 10k undeclared so for me that constitutes an "international law".
As being mentioned you can just bring more and declare it.
Normally if you play poker for a living esp highstakes live you are well connected within the community so that you can easily exchange online money for cash paying a small vig at pretty much any semimajor mtt stop w players you know

The previous cleaning lady I had didn't have any more time for me so I had to look for a new one. It seems like it's easier to find a girlfriend in Malta than a cleaning lady

Today I used this service for the first time http://maidsinmalta.com/, their price, 8e/hr using your cleaning products, is reasonable for Malta standards. A cute young lady (irrelevant) showed up, I was satisfied (not astonished) with the job she did.

I have no idea if they are reliable/trustworthy or whatever. They were pretty quick, she came like 4-5 days after I called them, which is like a world record for Malta.

Young college kid here. I have a great City job with a DEGREE from a 4 year university in Marketing/Business admin. I want to move to Malta and live for a MINIMUM of 6 months. I grind MTT's and am a winning player around the $10 ABi level (On ACR). Being from the USA.. I'm looking to move in with kids around my age who play poker as well.. I'm 23 years old.. or I'm looking for a coach who would offer a staking deal where I'd play "under" him while living with him.

Some general questions;

1) I found nice apartments for $300-350.. is this expected for a 1 room apartment? What are the rates I should expect for the BARE minimum (All I need is a place to sleep and solid internet and a place for a desk)

2) How hard is it to get a tourist visa? Do they extend often after 90 days?

3) How hard is it to open a bank account?

4) How do the women perceive American men? Easy to land local girls for a night of fun?

Thanks!

You are young with a degree with a great job, why do you want to create a hole in your CV to play tournaments? IMO, keep grinding your job, soon enough you will be making money to travel around Europe and the world and gather experiences

Anyway, answers to your questions:

1. If you want to be around the lively areas (i.e St Julians/Sliema), 300-350 will probably not be enough. With 400-500 you should find an ok place and higher than that the sky is the limit obviously. Now if you share an apartment with other poker players then the cost depends I guess.

2. No idea.

3. Without employment, very hard.

4. Local girls not that easy but you should not have a problem getting laid if that's your concern. This is a tourist place and also a lot of expats from all around the world are working here.

Hi guys!

Don't play to much anymore, but sometimes I take a cab to the casino for some live poker when I feel to play some cards.

I just want do warn you about a guy that hangs out around Portomaso and Casino Malta that you should not lend money too, cause he will not pay you back.

His name is Fil*p Gb*rcz*k and he is polish. Older around 45 years, looks more like a Maltese though. Shaved head. Very nice and social, but will ignore you after he's in debt.

It is not too much money, but that's not the important thing, he is simply just a man not to trust.

Just a kind reminder so not anyone more make the same mistake if you happen to bump into him.

Take care guys and keep on crushing!
