Well, I actually just booked a hotel a few moments ago. Staying at The Palace Hotel in Sliema for 8 nights. The reviews online said it should be pretty nice, hopefully they are correct...

My buddy is coming with me and we will definitely want to meet up with some of you guys for some drinks/partying/hot euro girls and whatnot.

Looking forward to this trip and meeting up with Matt as well so he can show me some places for rent if I decide to move there (most likely, but want to check it out before I commit 100% and sell my house in the states and such).

the palace is great and probably among the better room service ive had.

Awesome hotel i think, never stayed there but been to the restaurant on the roof a few times now, love it! right around the corner so send me a pm when u want to meet up for some drinks, or dinner+drinks hahah (TempAsian obv!)

How is this not grinder's paradise? Is the 2p2 attraction to Thailand just really that strong?

I would say relatively low cost, you can get along with small amount of money if you want, thought you have to cut back for some luxuries then.

If you like sunny and hot, then definately amazing. i think there has been 1 cloudy/rainy day this summer.

I have not encountered any criminality yet, even late at night, so yea that should be true.

What i have understood tax % should be zero for maltese residents, and yeah its legal here.

I have no experience about thailand, but afaik westerns are more uncommon there as they are here, and get some kinda special treatment?

But yeah, im very happy here.

Winter in malta sucks tho. very windy, rains ALOT. and is depressing, not many people go out.

What's considered winter there, like coming in the next few months?
