Dec 1st - Year end. Spare Room 500 all-in. Saint Julians. Dont have any pics yet, only of the view,.. take into account it is winter so cant guarantee the sea will be this blue! But apt is decent to say the least, located central, very comfortable, good place for the quiet grind as Dec is dead.

Cheers

Considering moving here from the U.K in 2015 (mtt grinder) with these new raked rebuys gonna hurt me and can play on FR and winamax again

My main question is whats the tax situation over there. Looked on google and cant find any current info.

Seems simple enough to get residency for EU nationals also read somwhere that you have to leave and come back every 3 months anybody do this?

Thanks for any info appreciate it

Preluna gym is okay and relatively cheap if you opt for a 12 month subscription. Don't forget to ask for a better deal, I got around 20-30% off (don't remember exactly how much it was) when I did this. The machines are a bit older but work fine.

Hi guys,
Tentatively considering a move to Marsascala. Will be viewing an apartment tomorrow but don't know the town. Saw a few of you live there and thought I'd enquire. Obviously its pretty quiet and a fair distance from Saint Julian's but anything else I might not be aware of?

Dont really know. U can easily ship it to be on teh safe side. Cost are between 500-1k to central europe no questions asked.

I doubt thought that there will be trouble if u take teh ferry. I was in sicily via ferry after those 6 months and came back without any issues

I had some 20+ years old crappy car for 1 year, nothing happened to me and I left with the ferry, no controls anything.

But I have been told that I could get in big trouble for this. The thing is, there is no roadside police checkpoints at all, I have never heard of someone being pulled over.

As I understand, the rule is, you can't drive a car with foreign plates if you are a resident (so you have to be a tourist) and you are considered a resident after 3 month spent on the island (good luck to them to prove that).
