Quick question to EU poker players. Did you guys have to notify any online poker rooms that you were moving over to Malta?

some change adress, some don't. u don't need to notify nobody... but if u live in malta and want to abuse their tax system it makes sense to register teh account there as well...

Another beatdown with unlicensed bouncers allegedly involved- person filming allegedly had phone grabbed and then pepper sprayed

edit: if you read the report procedure carried out by police you`d wonder how any convictions hold up in court here lol

Hi, I live in Pender Gardens (St Julians) and I need to buy a new laptop asap as my Sony Vaio one got broken. Only need a very cheap one though, just for surfing. Does anybody know where I can buy a cheap one in STJ or does anybody sell one?

Goodmorning!

Im a 24yo HU poker player from the Netherlands and im looking for a room in Malta from 1 March till the end of July/August. I will do an internship over there from monday to thursday. In the evenings/weekends i want to grind and i won't say no to a party so now and then
The company where i will do an internship is located at Cottonera street, a few km's away from Sliema, so it would be great to have a room over there.

Anyone fly with Easyjet with pc/monitor etc. They have it in their small print that they do not allow for electrical equipment to be shipped in hold baggage. Anyone have any trouble?

I am looking for an orthopaedic Chair to the office. I prefer it not to be some Herman Miller-like brand because I assume those will cost insane amount of money here in Malta.

At the same time I am not looking for some €250 "orthopaedic" chair from Atrium shop. Something between, I really want special chair but it does not have to be some top brand.

I do not remember this topic being discussed here, any tips?

I've a friend with a maisonette in St. Julians - 2 bedrooms (1 en-suite) for €750 pm. If anyone wants to see the apartment it's here - http://www.remax-malta.com/240101002-. 5675.

Don't try and arrange it through Remax though. If you're interested just shoot me a PM and I'll put you in direct contact with the owner and you'll save yourself €375 in agency fees.

Cool, last thing I want is them not allowing me to fly because of a few electrical stuff. Must have something to do with liability because they are responsible for our baggage when in their care. They obv not shilling out anything if bags go missing/stolen etc. their answer will be did you not read the small print.

I went to Malta with my best friend in October (vacationed for two weeks, then stayed five more for poker) and my favorite place we went to was the Azure Window. It's in Gozo so you'd have to take the ferry over but it's really cheap (< €5 round trip) and they run all day every 45-60 minutes. Anyway it's a gorgeous spot and we had fun hiking around, swimming in the sea, and watching the sunset.

Here's a pair of many pictures from the day. You can walk on the arch and the pinnacle, which is where the second photo is from. The arch itself is probably about 25m high, and there are some huge cliffs nearby too.

You can get a feel for the landscape in this video of people jumping off it (starts at 3:24). It's pretty damn high though so I wouldn't advise jumping lol.

Looks awesome Gordon, don't think I'll be entertaining the thought of jumping of that cliff though.
