Not sure on the release date of exact schedules but BoM is 20/04 - 26/04 and there's another festival that is I believe 24/04 - 30/04.

I realise this thread is pretty dead now but I'm a Brit working out in Malta and playing some 50z/live 1/2 and 2/5 here, happy to meet for a pint if anybody fancies it.

Hi,

Room opening up for 1 up to 3 months from mid-september onwards. I share the apartment with a fellow pokerpro in Sliema (Balluta Bay).
Due to personal circumstances will have to return to my home country for a while.

- Prime location in between St Julians and Sliema with everything nearby.
- Modern duplex apartment (2 floors) with topfloor terrace (sun from 8am to 5pm).
- The apartment has lots of natural sunlight due to location of the building and windows on both sides.
- Ensuite bathroom
- Office grind space included with electronic standing desk, office chair and 2 extra monitors.

I have Maltese residency and according to my lawyer I need to pay taxes.

Skimming through this topic it looks like almost nobody is paying taxes and even many people still think that you don't need to pay it.

So how does in practice things go in Malta?

I am trying to obtain Self-Employed residency and pay taxes. From what I know you can also opt for Self-Sufficient status and you do not pay taxes below 35k/year. How did you obtain residency?

I have self-sufficient status.
Are you sure taxes are not paid below 35k/year?
I am always in category above 35k/year so I didn't pay much attention what those below 35k pay it taxes, but if I recall correctly what my lawyer said, those in category below 35k/year need to pay some taxes too.

Not available at all to buy yet afaik. You can grow your own but the clubs haven't been set up yet and I don't think there will be any established any time soon.

Hi guys...do you know anything official about taxes in malta? I currently live in Malta (I come from an EU country), and reading another post I read that you have to pay 10% (officially), the problem is that I can't find anything about it.

I'm checking with an accountant, but I find different information. As a self-employed will I have to pay 35%?
