Hi guys,

Started a new project in Italy, a grindhouse for 100nl-1knl 6max cashgame players that want to improve their game with me.

The grindhouse is located in Abruzzo, Italy. It's a small villa and you'll enjoy beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea in the front and the immense Gran Sasso mountains in the back.

My vision is to have a place in nature where we can work in small groups on our poker goals.
I care about my health, peace of mind, quality relationships and I care about becoming a better poker player. Just in general: I want to improve our quality of life.

That's why we wake up around 9/10 in the morning. Do our morning routine (workout, meditation), then we study together, and in the afternoon / evenings we grind together. I also like to eat healthy, work out daily and have reasonable sleep schedules.

On our off days we can go outdoors, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, chill at the beach or go out to party.

About me: although I look like 24, I'm a 34 yo grinder from the Netherlands, grind 6max cash games since 2014. Currently my main stake is 200nl-500nl. I lived in Malta, Slovenia, UK and Thailand... Lived a bit of a hedonistic lifestyle which turned out to be a dead end... So now I just like to build something beautiful together and I think the Italian market is perfect for starting grinders to build their bankrolls. I'm a longtime MTT reg with about 1 million in lifetime earnings. I recently bought a big house and set it up to host my fellow poker pro's. The vision was to have a place you could show up with your laptop and just start grinding - bedrooms and office space available furnished, things like extra monitors already set up when you arrive. The house is spacious at 3500 sq. feet and includes a games room with pool table and bar, as well as a brand new 7 person hot tub. I'd also like it to see it become a hub for online grinders; a place where pro's living in or visiting Toronto feel they can drop in to talk shop or relax and shoot some pool etc. There's also a conference-style room for group hand reviews. The main theme, of course, is bringing together great players to collaborate, improve, and motivate each other! Did I mention the reliable internet connections!?

Open to both short and long term guests - It will likely be busier during the big online series' as during those times I expect to host people who primarily travel the live poker circuit - so the sooner you let me know the better for times like WCOOP.

I was intending on only hosting full time regs with solid winning records, but would consider someone a little more up-and-coming that shows lots of motivation so don't hesitate to DM me with any questions. Please share with your fellow poker pro's who you may be looking for such a destination, thanks

I’ve got 5 strong candidates for 2 or potentially 3 rooms available for long term guests 6 months+, all MTT full time professionals who are keen on spending lots of time studying and helping each other with hand reviews. All of them have expressed interest in moving in between December and the end of January. The aim is to get two other roommates to start considering I don’t want the place to feel overcrowded and I would like to keep a room or two open for shorter-term stays, mainly poker-playing friends of myself and the other roommates, and/or top MTT players who just want to come to grind a series like WCOOP. I am also aiming to not have my attention divided too thinly when it comes to coaching, since I want to be sure those who stay here leave feeling they got all the extra value of living with other poker professionals that I have been advertising!
Also among my reasons to start with just 2 other poker playing roommates is that I don’t want to spend my time dealing with interpersonal problems that may arise with a greater number of roommates.

Please keep in mind, for those of you I haven’t already detailed the situation to, that I have a girlfriend who is here a couple nights a week, and a non-poker professional roommate, an old friend of mine named Phil. Phil is a great guy to have around because aside from being awesome to chill with, he’s neat and organized and has a background in tech support for any issues that may arise with keeping your set-up running smoothly. Oh I’m 38 and Phil is 35 if that matters to you.
If having only 2 other MTT playing roommates + Phil doesn’t sound like it will present enough of a social life for you (or too much?), then maybe this isn’t the house for you. I like to try and keep some balance in my life so I’m not saying it will be 24-7 poker and studying, but it certainly will be the focus. Feel free to ask me for details about my social life and what activities/entertainment are available in the area - I am sure you won’t be bored and will drastically improve your poker abilities should you come and stay here!
