Go to the pharmacy (between the runs/puking) and ask them for antibiotics. I had the runs for a day, so went there and got 10 Cipros for a buck. No prescription necessary. Worked like a charm.

was told to get something called "nifuroxazide" aka "ercefuryl" on the snooky board so i got that, just took the first one, supposedly this works for food poisoning as well, who knows

i guess this one is specifically for stomach stuff and not just a general antibiotic

activated charcoal is great for anything stomach related ime and has no chemical ingredients so you won't have any side effects

yea little tablets of activated carbon/charcoal. dissolve in water and drink it down. you can get them at any pharmacy

edit: the idea being that as the charcoal passes through your stomach/intestines it adsorbs whatever the substance is that makes you sick so that you poop it out instead of having your body digest it

edit 2: you should look up the specs on any antibiotic you get prescribed in SEA. at least in thailand they'll sometimes give you really strong antibiotics when something much weaker would do
