The rental market here is pretty desperate atm, so you can definitely find something.

Fo visas come with an E type ordinary visa which lasts 30 days and you can easily extend for 6 or 12 months. I mostly do 6 months at a time because the 12 month requires a work permit which is an extra fee now

Thought this might be worth asking here in case anyone has any ideas; How can I get USD easily in Phnom Penh? I land at 11pm, so curious if there will still be a booth at the airport open at that time? I only have CNY or HKD cash - any suggested as being better? Are there ATMs around Sun & Moon / 136?

I know I'll get screwed on fees, but I only want $500 or so as I'm only in PP for one night on my way to SR for a holiday.

I've got an esim from Airalo as it can be used in 14 Asian countries and I'm doing a bit of travelling. 8 GB is $30, which is pricey obviously, but I'll pay it for the convenience of not having to change SIM card in the 4 countries I'm visiting. Could be an option if the person who asked is doing some travelling.

Good to hear. Pure coincidence, but I'm booked in here for my night in PP.

BRED Bank gives you up to 2k us with 4us fee. Theres one branch between sun and moon and PK. Also takes union pay. Aba only gives 250 for foreign cards with the same fee so that's BS obv. there are ATMs all around, but mostly aba IIRC. The hotel will likely also change your money but will take some vig. if you are in HK you can also get USD at excellent rates at many banks/atms
