Who said this is no biggie?

"Seemed" is past tense, clearly this is a "biggie" and I have seen no one, myself included, defend his theft. Do not try to paint it otherwise.

Fwiw: if you knew that him sleeping with bar girls meant that he was a scumbag and therefore not to be trusted, why didn't you warn everyone who now has had their money taken away?

He came off as a good guy in this thread, which I imagine is part of the reason that people were trusting of him.

This seems quite ridiculous for mike to do he has a successful business/brand presumably making at least 5k+ month. He ghosts customers for mid/low 5 figs when he could make that back in a few months. Are you guys sure something else is not going on? Your probably reading this mike so if you need to talk or help reach out to me.

Agree, i definitely dont think he is running away from us.
He could easily ran away with much money from me and he didn't.
I believe he has a personnal issue and have no choice to keep silent for the moment.
Im sure we will hear him soon and he will clear all that ****.
he cashout'd me like 2 days before disapearring so it was definitely not the plan to leave with as much money as he can!

Hi, so quick update.

Didn't really want to ever have to make a post like this, but feel forced to make it at this point.

Just reading the last couple of posts in the thread, ppl talking in good light about mike...I can understand where you are coming from. I spent a lot of time with him over the 3 years that I stayed in Cambodia and never would have expected him to do something like this. However at this point it seems quite obvious to me that he has scammed a ton of people and is trying to run away.

I've had people that were close with him and his family, that had no financial ties to him try to reach out to him, to which we have received no reply. I believe his wife still would have some way of contact with him and possibly his staff. I've tried to reach out to his wifes family, and am fairly certain from all these exchanges that Mike has ditched his family and is in hiding somewhere, hes had enough time now to give answers as to what is going on but refuses to do so and he would be well aware that people want to talk with him.

What i know for sure -

Mike owes various players, agents and clubs money, possibly over $100k USD. every day we get new info/new people stepping forward claiming they were scammed. 20 minutes before this post there was an agent come forward claiming a high 4 figure loss.

How/Why did this happen? -

So im not an agent myself, and never worked for Mikes agency. I'm just going off of screenshots that I've seen in the last few days. Mike never told me any of this happening, I've just learned this in the last 3 or so days.

Mike claims that he was arrested sometime in late 2021 by cambodian police, threatened with jail time and then extorted for $52kUSD, which he paid.
What we think happened is he was gambling on credit in games he couldn't beat + expensive lifestyle choices caught up to him. The extortion probably never happened.

There will be more posts detailing this coming later today, im not really the best person to expose this.

Where is Mike now?

The truth is we don't know for sure. But I think most likely he is in hiding in one of the provinces of Cambodia. Possibly fleed to a neighboring Asian country and finally there is a chance he returned to USA.

That's dumb logic. SOMEBODY has to be the cut-off point.

For those affected we also have started a Telegram thread. Please comment if you'd like to be added. I invited Mikes staff member "Ken" to the chat. Ken actually did respond but is acting like he knows nothing. I have proof from being his PT's upline showing that ken was handling deposits and withdraws via crypto for PT. Curious who dealt directly with Mike or one of his staff. If it was someone on his staff was it Ken or
Wayne?

Well, for one thing, that 52k seems hardly believable. That's not like the local prices, let's just put it like that. And have must of known from his involvement in RK and other ventures the tariffs that are charged for various stuff

Dam sorry for anyone losing money :s quite a shock because I thought he was doing well, remember him saying he was making $10k / m agenting.. gave off the impression he was doing ok online

We have been on good terms but not hung out or anything for a long time.. saw him maybe 2 months ago eating out when I was driving past riverside. Last contact I had with him was Feb 18 when he warned me about 3 colluders on uPoker

Ps. I find it quite damn ironic/funny that the first 2p2ers me and my brother met in Cambodia both trolled us about being busto n all that, thought we were ice heads... they both flee oweing money and me and my bro both doing better than ever

Not much I can do in terms of helping anyone :s Deleting his personal fb and the pokerapp one isn't a good sign...

Sad to read about this, always heard Mike was super professional as an agent - was going to suggest does anyone actually know something hasn't happened to him health wise but the deleting of FB or w/e & the jail message [wtf?] kinda prove that can't be the case.

Has anyone reached out to Wayne & what did he say? If he left the group is he being implicated as well or what? One of the nicest guys I've met here.

I don't want to join in on any witch hunts or jump to conclusions as PokerTriad is still missing in action and might actually want to resolve the situation in the future (a payment plan for 100k is reasonable if he can get a halfway decent job in the US), however financially overextending oneself and assuming patriachical responsibilities for south east asians that are unlikely to ever return the favor is an easy road to bad outcomes.

Told him that earlier on in the thread but he had a different opinion.

.
i never understood why people do this. if you're making 5k a month or more being an agent JUST BE AN AGENT. but they never do, they play and lose back their profit so often.

I got scammed a few years back by my agent whom i personally was making 2-3k a month, obviously plenty to live on in SE Asia. Turns out he had a sports betting problem. now i deal with a larger group instead of an individual. to be safe when choosing a club imo always choose one that has many people in the group chat working for you.

Dont have good experience about aba while abroad... Got my ABA mobile locked(was still able to log in internet banking... but yea they did cancel that one also) and did try to unlock it while out of country... Wasn't succesfull... they just told me to come Cambodia(which i eventually managed to do this year(was away many years))... Managed to do some savings accounts or something by msging them and got some forms... but was also some years ago so dunno if it is even possible anymore.

B-b-b-but doxxing isn't allowed on 2+2! With 4 figures cash, you can have crazy results in a lot of countries, scum hunting talking.

Ric: I edited your post. I'll need to see evidence that his staff knew what was happening as it was going on and were actively part of the scam before you can post their last names.

They've worked together and they all dissapear and left all group chats at the same time. They wont talk or say anything about Mike's whereabouts and they are hiding and not giving information about anything related to accoutns, players, money, etc

What proof do you need? You want wayne and ken come here and say they were part of the scam? That will be a bit hard
