Party pulled out a while ago but most other sites still work. But it's sometimes getting tricky to get money out when dealing with the local banks here. Most play on the Asian apps as there are a myriad of apps and agents transacting deposits and withdraws, including yours truly. Games are really good on the apps, especially Omaha variants. Agents will usually handle all transactions in cash or BTC. Find someone you can trust would be my main advice.

Thanks for the info Triad.

Are there any poker rooms in Sihanouville that has multiple tables running almost throughout the day? Looking for 1/2 to 2/5 stakes.

Polygamy is illegal in Cambodia, though it is still practiced. The ASEAN countries where polygamy is not criminalized whether or not you are a Muslim are Indonesia and Bangladesh.

Memorably, I've been to Ratanakiri and Mondulkiri, the 2 provinces in the Northeast. Unlike Sihanoukville, they are great places for nature tourism with slash-and-burn agriculture and waterfalls. I enjoyed a great time with local Khmer Loeu people, though I couldn't find a gambling house.

Most of the locals who can afford it just have mistresses.

The WM has $0.50-$1 and $1-$2-$3 every day and $2-$4 starting on the 25th. Oriental Pearl has $1-$1 and $1-$2 everyday and Yadoly $2-$5 and either a $5-$10 or a higher game most nights.

Hi guys,

Just found this forum, this is a long ass thread! Reading through parts of it and seeing that a lot of interesting people have been posting here

We are two guys living in Hong Kong who will visit PP this week, stay at Naga2 and play some poker in the pre-events. Would be cool to meet up with someone of you that lived a bit longer in Cambodia. We both are curious to understand countries and cultures better. We like discussing stocks/companies and investments. We are not in to the drug scene, so non of that, but chatting over alcohol is a favorite hobby of ours

Let me know if anyone would be keen to catch up and show us a bit of PP!

Send me a DM when you arrive. We go out at least a couple of times per week. Don't touch drugs.

Sounds good!

I forgot to ask, who is going to play during the WPT days at Naga? In your experience do you think it will be a big event with a lot of fish flying in (like me and my friend)?

My friends and I aren't planning on it as we're not really tourney players. It's really tough to tell as it's somewhat unchartered territory. The manager of the room seems really confident about the event though.

How often does 5/10 USD get up at Nagaworld, and how long do tables usually run for? Thanks

Hi,

I want to write about a scam that happened to me and my friend. The actual scam happened 7 months ago but i wanted to give the guy some time to see if he is gonna do something about it to make it right. But as that is not the case and i see him in RK chat asking for game its clear that he has some money but no willingness to pay his debt.

March 2018 in a drunken night out in red fox playing cards this guy known as facebook ROBERT KIT HALLIDAY (one of the fattest guy in Cambodia so easily recognizable at tables) wanted to make a bet that BTC would reach to 50kusd within a year and me and my friend snap called. The bet was 1kusd each. There was witnesses to this bet and we marked a date a calendar when bet was to be due.

March 2019 BTC had never hit to a 50k mark in a year so bet was due. Then he claimed that he had won cuz some some bullshit Venezuela exchange was trading 1BTC=1M. He claimed that bet would be at any exchange when it was with official market price. Any exchange would be too ******ed cuz he could basicly open his own and put any price

What happened he basicly freerolled me and my friend in a bet that we would pay in a blink of an eye had he won. Obv my bad, should use escrow but kinda trusted thus guy at that time.

Im writing this now cuz i havent seen single dime or willingness to pay me or my friend and also to warn others of this guy. He seems harmless and "slow" but ive since heard he has scammed people in some crypto exchange stuff which he claims to be his job.

I just ran into the manager of the Naga poker room today and he reaffirmed his confidence in the WPT event. He told me that he already has 300 pre-signups for the main event so it looks like it will be a healthy tourney to say the least.

Wow that was way more than I would have guessed, but we are unfortunately not staying for the main event. We are flying over today.

Hey - does anyone have any info in the games in Krong Poi Pet? I'm in BKK and thinking of doing a weekend trip (supposedly a bus from BKK) over there to play some small stakes PLO/NLHE ($1/1 or $1/2 max) as a rec. Am I likely to find anything there?

No games in Poipet unless someone started one up real recently. And even then the two previous attempts to run poker there have been unsuccessful to say the least.

Hello Guys, I am really sorry to not be able to read through the whole chat.

I am a 21-year-old German student and I am planning on going to Cambodia to play poker next week. I would like to stay 2-4 weeks. Can someone who knows the place help me ?

Im playing Cash NHL 1/2, 1/3, 2/4, 2/5 (would prefer to start out at the lower end).

From what I have heard so far there are Poker options in Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville. Where should I go, which casinos can you recommend ?

How can I live with my friend the cheapest, while having good internet access ? Hostel, AirBNB ?

Thanks for any help, also don't hesitate to PM me, maybe we can meet up !

So I went down to Naga last night to rail Pops in a satellite for the WPT Main Event. Remember that Pops already won a seat and holy shirtballs he took it down again last night. So now he has two tickets into the main event and he intends on using both of them, sort of. His intention is to use the first ticket on the first day 1 and then if he busts, use the second one to enter in one of the other day 1's. But it just occurred to me that he could just have that first one last in which case he's stuck with that second ticket. I suppose he can have a buyer lined up but that sounds like it would sort of suck for the potential buyer, waiting and wondering if he can buy the seat. Then again any buyer can intend to enter buying a regular ticket, and as a fall back plan buy the ticket off of Pops for cheaper if he busts. OK, now I'm rambling but these thoughts literally just occurred to me as I was writing this.

Anyway I played a little cash while I was waiting, a $1-$3 game that was fairly terrible as I knew at least some of the players on the table. In fact, I probably could say that no matter which table I sat in at whatever stakes as I just about recognized at least a couple of players in nearly every game. I don't mean to take anything away from the managerial staff at Naga as they seem to be doing a great job. Their handling of the first event as it got down to heads up was pretty flawless and so was how they handled all the cash games. But this event has not brought out anyone new as it's the same guys that have been coming out here for the past few years. None of the cash games looked soft, except the $5-$10 of course as it had the former American owner of Riverking sitting in it. That was probably the only game worth sitting in, but unfortunately I'm definitely not rolled for that. I think I dropped $40 in the game but won $500 online as I was doing a bit of multitasking. I said a bunch of hello's then took off as I wanted to slit my own wrists then sit in that game any longer. It was the first live hand I had played in over three months. I should have stayed in hibernation.

I went to the Riverside and waited for Pops as he joined me shortly after he took down the satellite. I can't really remember how many bars we hit up but I remember getting a Grab to take me home around 3:00 AM. We ran into a couple of guys in town for the WPT who I recognized from earlier in the night. We had a couple of drinks at Alaska Bar where a lesbian I tried to bang for months works as a cashier. I also found out Renton's wife is opening up a new bar on street 130 so I'll probably be there for the opening and try to drag a few punters along. I got home around 4:00 AM this morning, woke up at 10:00 AM and pretty much played online all day. I'll head back out tomorrow for weekly rakeback delivery and to meet up with some friends who are coming in from Thailand the following day. And of course on Thursday I am definitely railing Pops for day 1A of the main event.

Considering that the WPT is going on at Naga, Phnom Penh is probably the better option at this point. I saw games as high as $5-$10 last night and if I missed a $10-$20 or higher that wouldn't surprise me. As far as where to stay, book a room at the Bridge Club. The last time I checked rooms were going for about $32 a night on booking.com and a bunch of poker players stay there. It's probably the best value in town. The boys and I are out drinking at least a couple of times per week so shoot me a PM if you want to meet up.

As rooms in Sihanoukville are now expensive, poker rooms do not offer discounted or free rooms often if ever. When I was playing at the WM they offered free rooms but you had to play at least 5-10. That deal no longer exists anyway. The last time I spoke to the manager at Naga he informed me they don't do poker room rates either.
