The owner of the Riverking sent me down to Sihanoukville last week to sign the contract for our second poker room. I've been involved in contract work before but I admit this is the first I've I've signed one after midnight. We met with the owner of Bao Mai casino near midnight to seal the deal and he was really excited about the entire venture, pledging his financial support to help us in building out a great poker room. When I entered his office, he excused a host of Russian girls to go outside while we spoke business. Then he poured us tea while telling stories of the Ching dynasty. The whole thing was like a scene out of a Hong Kong triad movie.

I returned with the owner of our poker room today to continue the build out. The cleanup will begin this week with the custom made poker tables being brought in shortly thereafter. A paint job and some curtains later and the job will be completed. I still have to fill out a few staff members so if anyone speaks Chinese give me a shout.

Thanks man, always appreciate the kind words. We've got a really good team of partners, managers and staff so that always helps. We hope to continue the good fight with the opening of this room and other possible ventures still yet to come.

Your life is a movie. I can’t wait to come out to Cambodia and play man, even more so that I don’t have to worry about the poker scene in Snooky when I’m away from PP. but you’re living the dream. Plus the table and the chips are so sexy I’m drooling.

You're definitely right in that the Instagram page is something I don't update as often. Also, one of the bar girls recently found the page so I took a bunch of photos down. I'll pick up the activity on there soon.

New players in town are always fun because they provide me a great excuse to go out and drink. So I took a couple of guys out and to switch things up I started the night at Rose Bar instead of ending things there. Anyone who has ever gone drinking with me know I but way too many lady drinks. This night was no different as I quickly called three girls over to our booth. I'm sort of obsessed with the one I'm sitting next to in the photo. I'm not quite sure why; cute but not your classic beauty and she's a bit older. I haven't cracked that puzzle yet but it won't keep me up nights.

We moved it on to the Top Ten Bar across the street where the other boys quickly picked up the pace and "out-girled" me about 4-1. It's always a good thing when you're with a girl who's asking you to take her home instead of the other way around. I couldn't last night but I got her on Facebook so it probably won't be too long. We then made a quick stop at the Angry Birds Bar on 130. I stumbled out intending to go home but then ran into Yazzx and Samcx. So of course, Pontoon! I don't remember anything after that and just woke up at Carl's Jr eating a double western bacon cheeseburger somehow.

I've been running pretty good lately so I decided to jump in a bigger game yesterday, playing $2-$5 Omaha. I primarily play hold'em but I was stuck about $600 already from that game and figured that a change of scenery couldn't hurt. Of course my boss plays in the Omaha game so the game wasn't any short on action. This held true as he doubled me up when my 689T flopped a wrap and turned a straight on both boards when we decided to run it twice after getting it all in.

When my shift ended I wanted to go straight home but one of our partners in Sihanoukville convinced me to go out drinking with two of the dealers we had hired for the second poker room. We hit up about four different spots including Darling Darling at Naga and ended the night at Casa. We got fairly pissed, which perhaps wasn't the best idea as I had a 5:00 AM taxi to come down to Sihanoukville. In either case, I ended the night by 2:00 AM, slept by 3:00 AM and woke up in time to catch my ride.

I arrived at Sihanoukville and everything seems to be going smoothly as the new carpet is about to be installed along with the new TVs. The new air conditioning system is in and all we need now are the retractable curtains and the new poker tables. The room still looks like a mess but it should be near completion by the time Chinese New Year rolls around. I was going to go back to Phnom Penh tonight, but now it looks like I'll stay the night and just head back in the morning. March 2nd can't get here fast enough.

We'll have the same policy as the Riverking in Phnom Penh; smoking but not on the table. This alone will set us apart from every other poker room in Sihanoukville. And the space is very different than what you're used to as it's much more spacious and open.

Will you all have same rake structure in the New room? Also, are there plans to have a daily 2/5nl game in Sihanoukville once it opens?

Going down to Sihanoukville again in a couple of days. It looks as if the build out is going smoothly as we should have everything in place shortly after the Chinese New year.

Went down to BKK1 last night for dinner with a friend for what the beginning of an interesting evening. We started at a Japanese restaurant for dinner but then quickly moved it onto the Riverside for drinks. We got the evening started at Rose Bar where other friends joined. Then we headed down to Tiger Bar on 136 as the bar is huge and we had a large group. My night was cut short, at least momentarily, to help a friend get a room at the Riverking as he lost the keys to his apartment. I made sure he and his girl checked in then headed back out to 136 to finish the night with some friends. My friend seemed completely fine when I left him at the hotel and he didn't have that much to drink. But he texted me this morning to ask me what happened as he didn't remember any part of the night beyond the first bar we went to. Nothing nefarious happened as he woke up with all of his money and all organs intact. Plus we only went to bars and hung out with future we will know fairly well. Anyway I saw him today and he seems fine, but still a bit of a mystery.

I just discovered that Cardshark and Warmage came into town on near identical days. Coincidence? I'll try to goad both into the ill fated heads up match.

We have the Sihanoukville dealers up in Phnom Penh for this month while we wait for the new room to open. Integrating them in with the other dealers has been somewhat of a challenge. We had a bit of tough shift last night so I took a couple of them out for drinks and ended up at Howie's new place, the Wall. But into our first drink we ran into one of the bongs who treated us to a night out at two clubs, 2nd and of course... Pontoon! Nothing better to cure a tough shift than a night out drinking with the bongs.

It would be a big advertising tool to get people into the casino to play and get customers from world wide. Do it like live at the Bike and Bellagio POTS, let every day people play online for low stakes, 1/2 2/5 not just the 25/50 50/100 Average people. you can introduce 1000's to the poker and casino on youtube or Twitch.
