Maybe buy bitcoin with neteller then cash out to your bank account? Did you try entropay? Or trade stars $ for cash with someone here.

I think that I misunderstood, your problem is because your ewallet is in us $ not because your cambodian bank account is in us $. If so, this has been discussed many times in the Thailand thread, you'll find all the answers here https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/9...index2510.html

Will the games still be good in early to mid February or do they start dying down by then? It might be the first week of February that I arrive there..

Games will be fine then because we'll be in the heart of the high season. This is not to say they are bad now but with increased traffic that always means more opportunities for a better game. And as promised, pictures of the rooms.

I have ABA bank account, Skrill, Neteller. but I can not withdraw money.

I can transfer money from pokerstars to Neteller and Skrill, but Neteller and Skrill can not cash out money to US dollar bank account.

Then I tried to find CFT eligible visa card in Cambodia, but probably none of Cambodian banks have CFT visa card.

Please help me.
I think skrill can transfer to us dollar bank account but you'll pay large fee on conversion from us->euro->us. skrill -> ABA no longer works for me though after ABA changed intermediary banks and idk about other cambodian banks. Would appreciate it if anyone has done stars->cambodian bank account recently and can give any details.

I haven't tried it yet myself but I have been told you can cashout from PokerStars -> Neteller -> PayPal -> ABA.. If that's any use.. No idea how much fees you will end up paying..

Best option is to just try sell PokerStars or Partypoker $$ for cash

Yes, I think bit coin is the last way to withdraw stars money in Cambodia, but I have not tried it yet.
We can not use Entropays in Cambodia.

I have not tried " US.skrill " , I am going to search what is it.

by the way, I tried to cash out money from Skrill to ABA, and the Skrill money has disappeared. And Skrill said they can not recover money.

Thank you very much to ask your friend about this problem.
So probably selling dollar to someone or buying bit coin is the only way to cash out money in Cambodia.

I made paypal account before when I traveled to USA, but they did not allow me to make the account, I think I have to try again.
If the fee is like 5 % ish , it is OK for me though.

Any other sites available for an American to cash out from in Cambodia? Can Americans legally sign up for Stars or Party when visiting or moving to Cambodia? If so, are there any accounts that need setup prior to leaving the US in order to cash out, i.e. Paypal or Neteller? Is this cash out problem limited to Americans and USD accounts?

GTO method AFAIK (and I haven't used Skrill/Stars in years so things could have changed) is registering to Skrill, making sure you get a Skrill card sent to your address before you come here & then you use your skrill card to withdraw the money from an any ATM (I think you lose 1.75%?) then outside or inside ABA branches there are machines than you put in your account number and it takes your cash and snap adds it to your account, like an ATM but the other way round so you don't have to go in and deposit money via staff every time. Outside the main branch for example, there's a little outer 'Building/Room'? with an ATM & Deposit machine right next to each other, would be perfect. 24/7 with security (though he might be asleep) . I mean it's no different to transferring it to your ABA really, you're just physically doing it... if anything it's quicker than Skrill > Bank.

I think setting stuff up while you're back home is vital, if you are already in Cambo in becomes very difficult.

Other than that just emersing yourself in the community of poker players here and doing stars/party > $ transfers which are very common here.

A player who has been with us about one month left today so we took him out for some dinner and drinks last night. He stayed in the hotel and would come down everyday at 11:00 AM for breakfast and to start the game. I've already told him, but I hope he reads this and knows how much his time here was appreciated. We started the night by taking him my favorite spot for Mexican food, Taqueria Corona. The food was great as usual but we had way too much to drink as we ordered pitchers of both sangria and margaritas. I was completely hammered by the time we got to Street 130 for drinks. I saw a couple of girls that I know previously from a different bar and they quickly went to work knowing I'm prone to buy a lot of lady drinks when I'm drunk. We were joined by MojoAG and a couple of other friends. The night didn't go too late but it was fun while it lasted. Props to my friend for snapping the pics and also to the bars on Street 130. They're really coming up as 136 seems to be going down the toilet.

Thank you for information guys.

So if I make Skrill account/card in Europe, then I change address to Cambodia, maybe I can use Skrill card and withdraw money easily.

I am not European, so it is hard for me to have address in Europe, but I will try it if I have a chance

Had an incident at Nagaworld tonight that I thought I should probably share... tl;dr they mugged me off $100~ when cashing out... Will post details

When I got there around 7.30pm I bought $400 chips (4 black chips), I bought into the table for $200 and kept $200 in my back pocket... Played around a total of 11 hours barely swinging at all. Around 6am had a pot where I jammed with AT on A54x and held vs A3, I had $200~ start of the hand and had $400~ after, I'm 100% sure on that... The game lasted 1 more hour and I barely played a hand. The game broke just before 7am, I know the cashiers are super long and there was gonna be 5 of us cashing out so I just grabbed my stack and rushed to the cashier without counting it.. I'm almost certain I had 2 stacks of red chips ($100 each), $150 in green chips and some extra red/white chips, plus I added the $200 in black chips when I cashed out... (minimum $550)

They gave me $509 when I cashed out.. I immediately thought it was wrong but there was a queue behind me of people waiting to cashout so I waited for them to finish then I asked the cashiers if they were sure it was correct.. They assured me I only cashed out $509 (meaning I had $309 stack at the end +$200 chips in my pocket).. I asked if they could quickly check the cameras to see how much I brought to the cashier but they told me they couldn't do that.. I thought it was my mistake and just left it.. On my way home and once at home I thought about it more and was sure that it was wrong.. If it was only $10 or $20 I would just forget it but $100 I sorta gotta go back...

Once I entered Naga again I saw another chinese reg who was playing until the end (same guy on the AT vs A3 hand), I asked him how much he thought I had when we finished and he said around $400, which is what I thought...Went back and spoke to the cashiers they again said they were sure it was only $509.. I asked the poker dealers if I had left any money on the table and they said I didn't.. I again asked if they could check the cameras to see if it's correct but they couldn't... I asked the poker dealers if they could check the cameras to see how much my stack was at the end... I waited around an hour before speaking to a manager who wrote down all the details and told me it would take a while. We agreed to meet again at 7-8pm next day to try and sort it..

If they come back and tell me my stack was $309 ok my bad I must have made a mistake but I'm almost certain they are going to tell me it was more, around $400... $409 would make perfect sense. If they tell me it is more then we are going to have to check the cashiers camera which is also going to take a long time.

Maybe I'm wrong but I'm like 90% sure I'm not... But I think there is like a 12% chance I am going to get any money back..

We will see

I was told once through a third party that someone else had been shown camera footage before, but had never been told directly by anyone who had claimed to be shown any type of footage during an incident. And in all cases where I had asked to see footage or a friend had we have always been denied. I could be totally wrong about this obviously, but I have a working theory that the surveillance system at Naga is not what most of us think it is. Worst case scenario they either don't have cameras where we think they should or they don't keep the footage that long. But knowing the management structure there I think the more likely scenario is that the footage is something that most of the so called managers on the floor cannot access. I imagine that for the tables on the gaming floor they may care enough to get the right people to view it, but for poker they simply may not care enough. There have just been too many incidents where we have asked to see footage, they won't let us, claim they are checking it themselves and then just come back with the most ridiculous claims of what was on it. I think that it's entirely possible they spend that entire time trying to get access, are unable to then come back with what I suppose is their best guess. Like I said just a working theory and I could be wrong but in either case I hope you get your money back.
