Had an incident at Nagaworld tonight that I thought I should probably share... tl;dr they mugged me off $100~ when cashing out... Will post details
When I got there around 7.30pm I bought $400 chips (4 black chips), I bought into the table for $200 and kept $200 in my back pocket... Played around a total of 11 hours barely swinging at all. Around 6am had a pot where I jammed with AT on A54x and held vs A3, I had $200~ start of the hand and had $400~ after, I'm 100% sure on that... The game lasted 1 more hour and I barely played a hand. The game broke just before 7am, I know the cashiers are super long and there was gonna be 5 of us cashing out so I just grabbed my stack and rushed to the cashier without counting it.. I'm almost certain I had 2 stacks of red chips ($100 each), $150 in green chips and some extra red/white chips, plus I added the $200 in black chips when I cashed out... (minimum $550)
They gave me $509 when I cashed out.. I immediately thought it was wrong but there was a queue behind me of people waiting to cashout so I waited for them to finish then I asked the cashiers if they were sure it was correct.. They assured me I only cashed out $509 (meaning I had $309 stack at the end +$200 chips in my pocket).. I asked if they could quickly check the cameras to see how much I brought to the cashier but they told me they couldn't do that.. I thought it was my mistake and just left it.. On my way home and once at home I thought about it more and was sure that it was wrong.. If it was only $10 or $20 I would just forget it but $100 I sorta gotta go back...
Once I entered Naga again I saw another chinese reg who was playing until the end (same guy on the AT vs A3 hand), I asked him how much he thought I had when we finished and he said around $400, which is what I thought...Went back and spoke to the cashiers they again said they were sure it was only $509.. I asked the poker dealers if I had left any money on the table and they said I didn't.. I again asked if they could check the cameras to see if it's correct but they couldn't... I asked the poker dealers if they could check the cameras to see how much my stack was at the end... I waited around an hour before speaking to a manager who wrote down all the details and told me it would take a while. We agreed to meet again at 7-8pm next day to try and sort it..
If they come back and tell me my stack was $309 ok my bad I must have made a mistake but I'm almost certain they are going to tell me it was more, around $400... $409 would make perfect sense. If they tell me it is more then we are going to have to check the cashiers camera which is also going to take a long time.
Maybe I'm wrong but I'm like 90% sure I'm not... But I think there is like a 12% chance I am going to get any money back..
We will see
