he said it was a cavity and i just needed a filling, i said alright lets do it, then he pulls out the drill, i get scared as can be, im pretty sure i have only had the drill used on me once in my life and the cavity was tiny so it was very short, this was a big one i could see the dead tissue inside when looking at it in the mirror in my bathroom last night, i had thoughts of maybe i should go to PP, but again 10 hour bus ride.... f that lets do this right now

had to drill a lot, only very small pain a few times, the xray where they jam that one thing into your gums hurt way worse (as it always does)

obviously way to early to say i made the right decision, my mouth is still numb so i may be crying later, but initial impression is that he did a good job and as of right now id go there again if i had another dental emergency

cost = $20, in america i would have to go in to get it looked at and spend like $80 (if not more) then set up an appointment and come back and pay another i dunno probably $400ish would be my guess (though i havent been in a dentist for 10 years so what do i know)

so assuming that i am right and he did a good job it actually was way better that it happened here than back in the states


afterwards i went and talked to the girl at my hotel whose voice drives me crazy, here are some brief snippets from that convo

i would suggest staying at charlie harpers your first few days and picking the brains of the expats that hang there nightly
