Shi tty as in poorly written in your opinion?

It doesn't insult the room or paint it in a bad light...The meth head bit is either a negative reflection on Cambodia or the individual poker player or both, but not on River King.

It reads like a prescription drug commercial. Slightly disingenuous self promotion followed by the caveat, x% of people who come here will DIE!

Come on, you are making me sound like a hit and run. If you played with me long enough, you know I don't always do that. There are times I continue to stay and play even when I am up 4 figure profit. It all depends on how good the game is, whether I feel I am still playing well etc.

Well, if people keep saying I am terrible at poker, then I'll want them to put money on the line to prove it. Anyone can judge, it's different to back it up with something tangible.

If people want to read hook up stories, boom boom sessions, there are porn sites out there.

I focus more on sharing about poker-related stuff because it's well...a poker forum. Duh!

But I will be returning to Cambodia at some point later this year, hopefully, so I gotta ask, is the best of 3 HU matches for $1,000 open to anyone? If so, put me down for a match, sounds like fun!

Oh, and good-luck with APT PS Series.
I am offering heads-up matches because there are people here saying I am bad at the game.

I want people to back up their claims. Talk is cheap.

Thanks for your support! :-)

You're right, you don't always do that. Sometimes you go on lock down for half an hour before racking up!

I don't see anyone claiming you are bad at the game. That being said, put me on the list for this hypothetical HU match. Any stakes you'd like!

Hopefully you'll back up your claims. Talk is cheap!

Well, if you insist that I am a hit and runner, I am not going to deny that as I am guilty of it on multiple occassions.

I am in Manila now. 50K peso heads up match. I am ok with 50/100 peso blinds. I am free most mornings. I prefer Resort World Manila as it's APT now. Ping me if you are coming over.

I can do Cambodia too but I am currently tied down here unfortunately. If I were to ask Mike, he will def be more than happy to arrange a heads-up match for us.

Might want to pitch people HU SNG type format with blinds increasing every x number of minutes rather than deep stack HU cash with fixed blinds.

Based on everything you've posted about your poker game and poker background sounds like that would be a better format for you. And since the guys calling you out are calling you out over fundementals and game theory type stuff I assume they would still agree to more of an HU SNG format even if they'd prefer a deepstack cash format.

If it's HU SNG format, then it has to be in Cambodia. I don't think it's possible over here in Manila as they are busy running tourneys.

Uh...Why do you think the dealers at Resorts World would be willing to deal your HU cash match, but not your HU SNG match? Especially considering HU SNG match will most likely take less time.

Because I have seen the dealers doing heads-up matches for cash games here?

Anyways, my money is up for grabs here in Manila. :-)

Nope, you didn't.

I was just thinking out loud.

Sorry if you feel offended by my inner conversation.

While I'm not going to fly to Manila to play HU for only 1k, if you're back in Cambodia, we're on.

In this thread I learnt sharks want fish to make correct, GTO decisions, probably reducing their winrate, and berate them

And tippers want others to tip just as much, reducing the chance they get preferential service, and berate them

He 'seems terrible', 'isn't playing deep enough', his 'nit roll' is 'utterly ridiculous' and should be a snap call, he 'should speed up his decision time', mentions of his stack size and position in reference to how to make decisions and what those decisions should be....

This is enough for a fish to maybe go get some coaching. Plus a mention of a training site coach (Sauce) and an ebook (ok k2d's ebook will make him worse).

Made to feel uncomfortable for leaving games too quickly, or going on lockdown, or playing too slow... I'd be letting him do whatever he wants.

Your read is way off Jspill. First of all PokerMage isn't a fish. He's actually a marginally winning player. His trademarks include shortstacking, limp-shoving, tanking in super standard spots, slowrolling/nitrolling (however you want to perceive it as) and excessively celebrating when he wins a big hand. He's terrible for the game. And I have no problem whatsoever berating a player like that (at least on the internet!)

If you think I'm ever saying a single negative word to a garden variety fish in a live game, you're way off.

I'm just directly quoting the thread so far and anyone would read it that way, sure if there's some completely different dynamic in real life that no one could know about yet, then carry on

But most of that wasn't your posts

Thanks for your honest evaluation of me as a poker player. I am entertained. I never knew that I was a marginally winning player.
