i COULD do 9 months on 5k im quite certain, but my life wouldnt be to much fun

without drinking im pretty sure i can have a good quality of life for $800 a month and thats my goal for a budget

i think even being wasteful with money by nature if you can give it any effort at all to not be you could get by for $1500 a month and have a great time, not sure about PP though

not sure which city would be more expensive , i think rent might be more there (PP) but a lot of stuff is more expensive here (sihanouk) im pretty sure

for instance peanut butter was just over $2 there and it was $4 here (but all they had here was skippy and all american stuff is more expensive)

I could do it easy, doesn't mean everybody can. If you are buying girls then definitely not. If not, I don't see how you would spend 12k in 6 months. 1k a month is a pretty relaxed budget if you are staying somewhere cheap. I don't think you'd have a problem lasting a year if that was your goal, 10 months for sure living pretty decent. A lot will depend on what you are paying for a months rent, I'd be happy in a guesthouse for $150 a month. I don't need more than a clean private room with bed, shower and wifi.

In most countries alcohol will destroy your budget but that is not the case in Cambodia.

PP isn't really much more expensive. You could live on 1K a month no problem.

Honestly, you could do it for less, but what's the point of moving to a third world country just to get by. It would get old, no matter how happy you'd be to get back online the first few months.

For people who have never been to SEA and are now thinking that Cambodia is some magical place where they can play poker and live comfortably on a shoestring budget, why not spend the time traveling the region? You could get set up in PP for a couple months, then spend some time in Vietnam, Thailand, Laos etc. for not much more.

That is assuming that K2D is actually going to be able to get everything set up. I still think that getting approved by PS is probably going to be easier than establishing a consistent method of depositing and withdrawing(American specific problem).

what stakes are running regularly at naga world these days? still 1/2 and and the 2/5 table full of regulars?

is the best price at naga world for poker players still $80?

has anybody else tried getting a box at naga world? definitely doesn't feel safe taking money there. everytime i've been, i've stayed at the hotel the entire time, never leaving with money, and always feel a bit weary on the way back to the airport when i have my money. last time, my motorbike taxi switched drivers midway after randomly passing the other driver on the road. thought i was about to get jacked.

playing mass field mtts so high variance, lost 60 day 1, 70 day 2, won 130 yesterday, so break even

but i REALLY like how things are going, im not afraid of losing my small buy in anymore so stealing blinds like mad crazy, building huge stacks consistently, the flips at the end havent gone my way yet, but thats mtts for ya

if i can continue to accumulate all that dead money though good (maybe great) things are coming

i dunno yank i have moneybookers set up, the guy (wabby) who helped me set it up said i can transfer money back to him and he will pay me out if i need, or i can send it to my cambo bank account and then withdraw, im not so sure thats really an issue (could be way off though as unexpected hurdles can easily pop up)

ya, it wasn't even planned at all, he just happened to pass by this guy who he happened to know who was also on a motorcycle. he stopped and started talking to him for a couple of minutes, then the original driver motioned for me to go with that guy. i just went with the flow. maybe a bad move, but if i had said anything maybe i would have tipped them off that i actually had some money with me.

Opening a Moneybookers account is super easy. However, take a look at your transfer limits. Until you go through some of their verification processes you will be limited to transferring something like $1000 every year or three months or something. You should log onto their site and start figuring out what they need you to do to increase it ASAP because their options are not very Cambodian friendly.

Banging prostitutes in SE asia is a very big accomplishment. It's kind of like when you successfully negotiate the purchase of an apple back in the west.

I can't believe someone that brags so much about how smart they are, and how frugal they are and how great they seek attention would overpay a dope fiend 250% more than the going rate for ST in Sihanoukville.

Behind every Yabba girls is a Yabba BF, training and instructing her.
