No need to be paranoid 24/7, getting "ripped off" is part of being the new guy somewhere, as long as **** doesnt REALLY hurt you financially, it`s nothing to worry about. Did you get the best price at home for everything you bought at your first try? Probably not.
With experience, you`ll be able to figure out how much stuff should cost. Before that, just enjoy the ride and dont worry about it, you`ll have a much better time. Plus, you`ll have a lot of funny stories to tell later on in your life.

Just your average dance club really, but actually has some decent dj's come. Think some nights are hip hop nights aswell. It's no better than your average club anywhere else in the world but it's the best in PP. And it's twice the size of Heart & unlike Heart isn't filled with every gay in Cambodia & actually attracts some nice girls who aren't just after money.

One thing is that it does attract a few ladyboy's.

get up today to run more errands for pokerstars because i am their b1tch, go to the bank to get a printed statement, they wont give it to me because all i have on me is my bank card, id, and copy of passport, clearly thats not enough to prove im me to get a piece of paper from them about this account with $80 in it, so i have to get back on moto go back to hotel get the passbook (weird checkbook like thing with no checks) bring to show them so i can get a statement, or so they said

they tell me that the passbook is the statement, i guess it does have the date and account info on it, though they could have just explained that the first time and not told me to go get it and come back

so i do another errand for stars as well, go to the copy/scan place for the FOURTH time already for stars, and send it in.... at least they rejected it quickly this time and not 24 hours later, but the address for the bank doesnt match the one on the lease, all they wanted was what hotel i was currently at

so tomorrow have to go back to bank update address pay $10 for new passbook make trip 5 to the scan place then wait around to find out why that isnt acceptable and what i need to do next.............

fwiw i realize this has gotten boring, to be fair i warned yall for months how boring of a life i wanted over here, but ill try and put my life on the line in some sketchy situation at some point in the near future

Hang in there K2D I know Stars can be pretty frustrating when you want to get your account reinstated. For me when I was in Thailand I had to go back and forth to like 3 different bank branches with that passbook **** your talking about so they see my name with some bs statement that I am acutally a customer of that branch. I feel like how hard is this **** you guys can see I have a Thailand IP just ****ing call me and ask some security questions should only take a day or two. Oh and cant wait for sketchy situations you might find yourself in I couldn't even imagine going to Cambodia

I had my stars account approved about 45 after I opened my Thai bank account. It took me 5 min to scooter home, 10 min to scan and upload to the client (didnt even send an email). Waited 1/2 an hour for them to update my info and boom, I can cashout to my thai bank account. It was stupidly easy.

now we're walking to my room and im like let me see your purse she says why and i say cuz i wanna make sure u dont have anything, she gets pissed and im like i told you about this already, she obv has it with her and its in a pipe and im like ok give it to me ill hide it outside of my room..... she HAS to smoke it before this happens though, no way she is letting this out of her sight before its smoked (fwiw she doesnt seem like a druggy at all) so she goes and huddles in the corner and i block her from the only possible place someone might see her and she smokes

she comes in gets naked then puts a towel on and goes back out.... ????.... there are some guys out there and she just walks right back into my room with the bag, im like dont but she says just let me finish it real quick and we can put it outside, anything to get that **** out of my room so i say fine, she finishes it a minute later and its out

this whole time she is bitching about not wanting to do 3 times and about how she cant believe im making her hide it outside, again so fun and nice inside the club, huge bitch outside

so then we do round 2 which she rushed into only got like 10 mins inbetween she wanted to insta do it, so round 2 finishes i go to wash off and shes dressed and askin for the full amount, i tell her no way ill give you less if your gonna leave now, didnt really put up much of a fight and accepted the less but damn that is not a fun convo at all and it really kills the enjoyment factor when the girl turns psycho bitch right as you leave the bar

i guess the moral of the story is if a girl tells you she needs to smoke shabba pick another one??? ya that would probably be a good idea

to bad, i mean it was still fun, but with how this girl was in the bar i thought it was gonna be an outstanding night

not even close to $200, only the first week and that was going at it every day in angeles overpaying on the last night and then the night in bangkok and that was exactly $200

so far in cambodia in 10 nights been $117

but im a noob here and can get things cheaper in the future as well

either way thats all part of the budget, at least until i get back to PI
