i wouldnt eat cambodian street food
in asia its so +ev to buy food at restaurants over making it yourself, even as a nit who has tons of free time on his hands i dont think its anywhere close to worth saving $1-$2 by cooking it yourself when you have to take all that time
there are exceptions, like i make my own burgers because i think they are better and u can get the meat for 2 burgers for $1.50 (not sure about in cambo for making own burger though)
two annoying things about eating out in asia are A) the drinks are to expensive, sometimes even over a $1 for a coke when u are paying under $5 for a huge plate of ribs, or go to a buffet for $6 and the coke is almost $2...... so i generally do take out and by the drink elsewhere (or eat at home)
also i cant remember the last time i went anywhere in asia and they brought me the check, and at least half the time they never even come near your table so u actually have to stand up and go find the waiter and ask him for the check, very annoying
