Sup with your roll k2d? Busto?
Living in Cambodia and turning Pro Quote

not busto, playing 200 hypers a day on a small roll losing constantly would make me want to kill myself, djle is offering me the peace of mind to play without having to feel every loss

most of djles money is insured via rakeback so even if i lose he will get some (if not all) back.......... his only real total loss is if i rob him or get dmalloy'ed

Last edited by kick2dante; 09-05-2013 at 01:28 PM. Reason: to soon on dmalloy'ed?

he dont even use HEM, you should at least get him to use that so you can track all his wins/losses in case he tries a runner.

Last night cash game red fox
Result $145 up
Rake she stayed in bed asleep while I play . So I reduced her cut to 7.5% which equated to $10. She was still happy and there was no complaining about the cut %.

Yes but the two points I am raising for discussion here is
a) The belief in talismans or good luck objects and superstitions
b) The most important point to be observed is do not play poker when your mind is elsewhere.

No offence to K2D, but I just can't get my head around why anyone would pay their own money to stake a proven degen, whom judging on their strat posts in his thread - is a very sub-standard poker player. What could you have possibly read on these forums that would make you think - wait a minute, staking this guy looks a sound investment?

As said, the only solution I've come up with is that you hold a genuine hate for any sort of money.

K2d actually seems to be somewhat responsible with $, but staking someone is usually because they're playing stakes below skill level for whatever reason, which I doubt is the case here.

13 months ago i went to wabby and gave him $250 to put on my moneybookers account, i havent deposited again since

sharkscope kick2dante and look at my sng stats where i have been profitable on every site ive played on in sngs (except one with a tiny sample size)

am i the most profitable player? obviously not.......... but im also not some awful person to stake

he also has some of his stake insured through the rakeback which makes this even less of a risk

these sng's on micro are extremely soft, party sngs were filled with far more solid players and i had a 7 or 8% roi throughout the year before i switched to the double ups in tougher games

so if everyone in thread me was right and i just dont understand variance then these should become highly profitable quickly

however i definitely have my doubts.... i know what it takes to beat sngs and im doing that, but 6 weeks of beat down on this site has me questioning.......... it feels like i dont really have a chance here

djle is being kind enough to give me an opportunity to find out, it wont cost him to much if i fail because of the rakeback insurance, and considering the volume im putting in (200+ a day) and the softness of the games he has some solid profit potential

as far as money management/degen........ i dont see how you can have any room to talk when you say you go out get wasted and end up doing random **** every night when u r in cambo and spend 2 or 3x as much as i do

and LOL at me only being "somewhat responsible with money"

you guys go move to vegas with 4k and survive for 6 years while not being a very profitable player, good luck

im better at money management than 99.9% of people on the planet

you also stake people who should be beating something but dont have the money to take a full shot at it, one bad week in the hypers could put my bankroll in a world of hurt and then id just have to give up so it would be a total loss

this at least gives me a chance to play through the variance you guys kept yelling at me about and see if its true, and with the rakeback insurance he wont ever lose to much

So the deletion of "thread me" means that K2D is back to squatting on this thread even though he isn't even in Cambodia anymore.
