Hope he's ok. He's not been online since the 1st. Cambo isn't the safest place to head home with hundreds of dollars at night.

so... ive been in sihanoukville for 2 months now, slept with 10+ girls and money has never been mentioned, apart from the hooker i mentioned before but she stayed with me 3 nights and now im really good friends with her, she supplys me with condoms and another girl that stayed with me 2 nights in a row, and on 3rd night in the morning she arrived at my house unannounced and saw me with another girl then started kicking off and wouldnt leave until i gave her $40...

im now working at JJ's part time.. i just show up whenever i want, get a free meal and then i have to spend 1 hour giving out flyers then i just get free drinks all night. only downside is i have to stay there until like 2.30am or maybe later if its still busy, but then i just go to dolphin where im also allowed to just go behind the bar and help myself to drinks because im kinda hooking up with the owners sister.... and im friends with all the staff

a few nights ago a ladyboy offered me BJ for free and i said no, the next night she offered to give me $10 and i said no, then the next time i see her she is offering me $20 lol.... i know what im doing tomorrow night...

i think im experiencing a different sihanoukville to what u guys have experienced....

yeh i just get 1 free meal and drinks all night, no pay, it really isnt "working"... after i spend 1 hour giving out flyers i literally dont have to do anything, just party as usual... sometimes at like 12-1 if the dancefloor is dead they try to make the staff go there to make it look busier...

they hire western staff just to stand about... to make sure there is a party going on. the other guys working there get free accommodation also, but they work every night... i just work a few nights when i want

I can't stand beer in the UK, but drink copious amounts of Angkor while in Cambo. $2 a jug you can't go wrong.

you reckon? are we on about largers? I didn't really think UK beers were that great, but after visiting Asia, UK larger although not that good are still way better then Asian beers. Just different tastes I guess, but I find Asian beer just to flat and lifeless myself.

Now a crabbies >>>

Yeah, I literally can't stand any of them here...so much so that they make feel sick. I'm a cider man on nights out.

But I actually quite like the taste of Angkor, it is a bit odd. I also quite like and can very much drink Leo & Chang in Thailand.

I imagine a big part of the reason that a lot of people don't like the beer here is that the locals have no idea how to properly refrigerate it. I've yet to visit a Thai-run bar that had lager that was cold enough. They seem to think sticking beer in a Coca-Cola fridge (that they got for free from the distributor) is sufficient.

Not sure what the situation is like in Cambodia, but even here in Samui (which is a major global tourism destination) like 1 out of every 4 bars sells proper cold beer. That would be bad enough anywhere, but in places where its over 30 degrees every single day it can lead to some pretty disgusting tasting beer.

really? u'd rather drink warm beer? We usually drink outside somewhere and usually stinking hot so there's no other choice than to have an ice bucket. Don't luv ice in my leo but beats drinking warm larger!
