My point was that I hope these protests don't end with 80+ protesters being killed and parts of the city burnt to the ground.
I think Hun Sen is basically a mobster and Sam Rainsy might be an improvement, but the best thing that can happen for a nation is developing a precedent for a peaceful transition of power. Secure a foothold in parliament, then get strong international monitoring for the new election so you don't end up with two parties claiming victory. No one really knows who won that election. The whole country is corrupt, including any citizens who will vote for someone handing them dollar bills.
Or we could try your idea. They could start with the rich people, then move onto the teachers, and why not just hang anyone wearing glasses to be on the safe side.
