Why on Earth are you going to Belfast? (I currently live here)

Because my girlfriend is living and working there -with her own apartament- so I think is good idea go to Belfast and play in .com/.uk (I am spanish so now i just can play in .es) and i would like to improve my english and to know North Ireland

Is tax free like England right?
Why is forbidden the live game?

Yea same tax laws as England(none), technically all forms of casino games are illegal in N.I(including online poker), although this is a very loose law and it would never be investigated/you do not need to hide that you play etc from anyone including police(If ever that situation arose lol), but due to this law youll never see a casino here, hense no poker, there is one underground game that runs, rake is very high, but if the time runs and if youre itching for a game PM and ill give you directions etc. Closest barring that is Dublin I believe.

The city itself has came along way in the past 10 years, its relatively clean, there is good food/nightlife and relative to Capital Cities its relatively inexpensive. The weather is truly awful though.

Its nonsense that you have tax free is all the casino games are illegal XD So now, with the regulation in UK do you know if people from NI can have problems for open a new account in pokerstars or wherever?

Nah you'll have no problem setting up any new accounts.

Its less of an underground casino and more of a club, each night starts with a SNG(~40 players £40 BI), which is essentially a hyper(20min blinds live), Then cash starts ~11pm and runs through to 6am(£200nl with occasional ROE). The quality of play is generally weak/passive, tbh id only recommend going if you're really itching for a game. Otherwise take yourself down to Dublin, there has been a recent motorway built so it now takes <2 hours to get there, if you don't have the ability to drive whilst here return bus fare is like £15 and runs through the night.

Poker isn't very popular here due to the laws and as a result Im the only person I know who plays for a living here, you're gona find it incredibly hard to create some sort of poker house without getting people from outside N.I.

Why Belfast of all places? You know the IRA won't start recruiting until after Brexit, right?

Anyway, NI sucks for poker and basically anything classified as a vice. Would be better off somewhere else in the UK if poker is your main income source.
