I'm pretty sure Korean girls are even more passive in terms of dating than Filipinas, it's crazy. With Korean girls you have to do everything because they will do nothing.

I don't want to crush your dreams, but I would highly advise not going to Korea, if (as it sounds like) a large part of why you want to go there is to chase after hot girls.

I lived in Japan for 3 years, and although I learned Japanese to fluency in 3 years of study (1.5 years semi-serious before moving, 1.5 years intense study while living there), I found that the vast majority of Japanese girls will not date foreigners, period. There are some exceptions, mainly the unmarried older women in their late 20s, and 30s are a bit more open to trying their luck with foreigners, because they want to get married, but still haven't been able to catch a Japanese guy. There is also a small group of girls who have studied abroad and/or are interested in foreign culture who are open to dating foreigners, but from my experience those girls often had less social skills and/or were not great looking.

At the end of my three years, when this reality was finally starting to sink in, I searched the internet and stumbled upon a few threads on fora (linked at the bottom of this post) that describe this exact situation, confirming what my experiences. Japanese girls in Japan, for the most part, are unwilling to date foreigners, due to them being looked upon as different by others in society, and being different than everybody else in Japanese society is a big no-no.

Now you may think: "But this is in Japan! I want to go to Korea!". Well... upon this discovery, and after I decided that this (plus some other things about Japan) made me want to live somewhere else, I too considered South-Korea as an option. However, not wanting to run into similar issues there I contacted my high-school friend who's lived in Korea for years and asked him what dating is like over there. He confirmed that it's basically the same in Korea. Girls are somewhat shunned by society when they date foreigners, so the only ones that will, are outcasts of some sort.

To offer a contrasting opinion, most of what you describe is problems that arise if you're actually looking to have a serious long-term relationship. From talking at length with multiple people who also lived there for years, one of the main points I got from it was that you don't even necessarily want to date a typically very Japanese girl so to speak, exactly because of the reasons you highlighted in your Quora post. And it's certainly possible to bang hotties from ONS or casual dating if that's what you're looking for. From my way too many hours of online stalking and discussing vagina stories, in Japan you're gonna be -EV or neutral EV with most girls, +EV with the gaijin bumhunters. In korea it's gonna be more neutral EV to slightly -EV across the board.

Lower cost of living, way more open to foreigners, culture is more laid back, girls look extremely similar. My Singaporean friend even said he thought Taipei girls were hotter than in Seoul on average (dont be misled by the kpop girls)

Yeah, that's kinda true. So if having little to no shot with ~90-95% of girls and having a really easy time with ~5-10% of girls (who imo are usually not the top of the foodchain) around his age, and a higher cost of living sound appealing to Info Shove, by all means give Korea/Japan a shot, but otherwise I would not recommend it.

I picked it up while living in Japan, before I realised it was not me but the country what caused dating to be seemingly impossible (the year after in Singapore it was very easy), and I'm glad I did. One of the best books I've read. I'd even recommend it to married people and women, because it teaches so much about social skills, conversational skills, attitude towards dating/relationships, etc.

Why was it much easier in Singapore? That's one of the places I'm considering moving to.

If you can get a visa there, I can highly recommend it. I tried to find a job and get a long-term visa, but the local job market is too protected making it very hard, unless you get a high paying job (6-7k$/month). I still want to live there eventually, but for now I can't.

Dating wise, it was much easier because compared to Japan where 90-95% of girls do not want to date foreigners, Singapore was normal, or maybe even slightly easier if you're a westerner. But I reckon only a little bit, unlike places like Thailand and The Philippines where dating appears to be much easier if you're a westerner.

Singapore may not be for everyone though. In spite of how much I recommend it as a place to live, I cannot recommend it as a place to travel to, because although it's a beautiful city, it is rather boring and there's not a lot to do. If you're okay with that, you're left with:

- A super safe place (top 4 safest cities in the world)
- A beautiful and modern city
- Super friendly perfect English speaking people
- A somewhat westernized society. I'd describe it as the perfect mix of west and east
- I am personally a big fan of the SG government, although I'm sure many don't agree with me.

If you go, check out the Marina Barrage rooftop at night. It's my favorite place in town!

On a more serious note is there a general consensus for which room is the best to play in Manila for NLHE? I tried Solaire before and the games were pretty good but the rake is pretty nuts, even at 100/200 PHP. Are the games comparable at all other major rooms or is there anywhere else that's better for 100/200+? Less rake would obviously be nice but I value safety most of all closely followed by softness. For example I've heard some somewhat encouraging things about the softness of RW but also heard that it's way sketchier.

I read this book and there is only one excellent thing about this book (for advanced 'womanizers') however the simpler or rudimentary stuff would be a solid base for a noob (social skills etc)

The brilliant aspect worth mentioning is the concept of 'being vulnerable' as it takes an competent or advanced level of confidence to be 'strong yet vulnerable' (honestly being outcome independent) knowing your great so its ok to be vulnerable etc so it just helps with authenticity and genuinely enjoying the process of courting a stunner before you get to **** her (eg enjoying not presently banging the chick your spending your lifes energy/time on)

January has been an interesting month so far. Cliffs: I've traveled to Pampanga, I've had a $1k crypto windfall, I've lost body fat, I've begged(!) a girl to take the morning after pill, and I've met the hot girl from Pampanga and she looks even better in person than in pictures and turned out to be the hottest Filipina I've ever seen. I've also bleached my hair blonde 3 weeks ago as a self-experiment what difference that makes in SEA. I'll write my conclusion of the experiment once I'm back to brown in February.

A couple weeks ago, when I needed it the most, I got a lucky crypto windfall of $1k with the help of other people that don't want me to talk about it so I won't go into details. I know nothing about cryptos, it was just huge luck and knowing the right people. While my life roll is still extremely low, I now have enough money to last me till the end of March. Then my rent contract is expiring and I could extend it or move somewhere else cheap.

The Korea dream is obviously not happening in March as it's January already and I'm still stuck at 60NL and my volume isn't great either, and I was a bit sad about it at first and promised myself to still go to Korea at some point in the future like late 2018 or 2019... but then my view on Filipinas was turned upside down when I met Pampanga Girl in person. I think it's safe to say Pampanga Girl is hotter than 95% of Korean girls. I had already thought she looked hot in pics but in person it's a whole nother dimension of hotness. It makes me question the value of spending hundreds of $/month living in Korea with the main intention to date Korean girls, if Filipinas this hot exist. I've posted 2 pics of us on my Instagram but no pictures can really live up to how attractive she looks in person.



That was the first time we met, 4 days ago.

Later that same day I had another first date with another girl at Greenbelt who jspill introduced to me (legend). I went there directly from Pampanga so I was very late and got there at 9pm when the place we wanted to eat at was already closed. I had promised her pizza but we couldn't find any pizza place that was still open, so I tried my luck and I said: "Yellowcab delivers 24/7, let's take an uber to my condo in Pasig and I'll order us pizza" and to my surprise she agreed! We had only known each other for 20 minutes and she came from Makati to my place in Pasig with me. We watched Fifty Shades of Grey in my bed as we waited for the pizza while I worked my way through her shirt and pants. I've watched that movie 3 times now, but never more than the first half hour . By the time we finished the pizza she was already naked so I paused the movie and put the laptop away. Then... well... I had to meet her in Makati again the next morning to buy her some morning after pills.

It was a few minutes before her work starts so I didn't get her to take the pills in front of me, I could only text her the instructions and trust her to follow them. The first 4 pills were easy to convince her and her reaction shows she really did take them, but the last 4 pills (you're supposed to take 4, then after 12 hours another 4) took me 20 minutes of negotiation time to convince her to take them. Still not sure she really took them, please include me in your prayers.

2 out of 4 Filipinas said the same thing and I'm definitely going back to my natural dark hair.

Pampanga girl was especially vocal about how much she dislikes my blonde hair. She also complained about my skin being "too white" (lol wtf?) and "you should go to the gym, you're a bit chubby!". She also texts me much less since we met, only short answers if I ask a question. Overerall things are not looking good at all.

I'm not giving up yet though because she's the hottest Pinay I've ever seen
