No but right now we are only 2 people living in the 3 br place so I don't think it's overpriced. She rents out the other room short term but appearently it's empty most of the time.

No, I didn't find a $250 place that would be my own, that's just the budget I've set for that. Originally I had the $160 room thinking it was larger and considering staying there for up to 6 months if it's comfortable and alternatively finding an own place for up to $250.

But the deposit is a big deal for me, it means I'll go broke 1 month later if I do. And living in a shared apartment isn't as bad as I thought, definitely worth saving the deposit and being in a relatively nice apartment and building for $250.
