Yeah 6 weeks ago. Might be some "airport extra" who knows, pretty easy to charge tourist when they need to get out of country.

I asked the woman who does my visa extensions and she said it's just a 1k fee.

I felt a small earthquake 20 min ago while grinding in my bed and found nothing about it on google! I thought I'm nuts.

My overstay was also 6 weeks ago. Yeah just showing up at the airport is a pretty big no no there. Curious how they computed that extra chunk of fees though ha. But also you are lucky you weren't forced to go to the Immigration Office and then miss your flight.

Two days ago at like 4:00 am I saw some weird dude sitting in front of a 7/11 playing with an unloaded but real gun and repeatedly pulling the trigger while aiming it at the store with people in it. Turned out it was the gun of the store's guard who was taking a smoking break and letting his friend play with the gun unattended. I thought wtf the guard is risking his job. Today I see the same weird dude, this time behind the counter in the 7/11 he was playfully aiming the gun at. He works there as salesclerk. Imagine that in the West.

i distinctly remember jspill playing the 'thailand is 1k baht for overstay, phils is 1000 a day' card before in a phils > thai debate

im just curious what the F you do all day when in a city where you know nobody, have no job, and dont have time to text girls or go to immigration

^ Hehe nah what I said was you have to pay pretty much all the fees you owe for Philippines overstay. Like, if you overstay a year they're going to recoup all the costs of the extensions you didn't pay for.

Whereas in Thailand (at the time) it was capped at 20k baht (500 baht/day first 40 days then no fee) so you could overstay 1 year, 5 years, 10 years, whatever, and it was only 20k baht ($600)

This was when you were saying thailand sucks for visas but at the time I was paying a capped $600 fine for 4 years of overstay, no border runs, even cheaper than Cambodia

Today to the day it's been 1 month since I got laid. This insanity has to stop. I need to leave my house more.

It's been my 3rd night grinding 50nl on the site we shall not name and I'm up $90. I played and ran terrible the first night. I want at least 1 BI per day, or better 2
