Forget about opening bank account if you don't have work permit or have electric bill or another bill with your address in the Philippines. I tried at least 10 banks in makati.

I know a bunch of people who just opened via ACR card recently. There is an adress on the card. I also know of people who opened with just utility bill but lower success rate here. W/o ACR and no utility bill it will be close to impossible though

They ask to see your return/onward ticket when you fly into ph, not in PH. You can buy one at expedia and just cancel it after you landed and get ur money back.

Probably wont ask what you are gonna do in ph unless you look like a crack dealer or a phedophile
