Yea I know. But this low crimes are LOL crimes, non violent most of the time. I much prefer phones snatching scumbags than yolo double digit IQ gangsters like this guys

herro

long time lurker here, firstly just wanna say thank you for creating this epic thread, even though its fallen off a bit it has been a ton of fun to read.

few q for you :
assuming one lives a very nitty life, what would the cost of living look like today in USD?
do you have any regrets along the way?

Cheers

Very nitty: $600
Comfortable nitty: $700 ("comfortable" if you have low standards like college aged people)
I see $600 as the base minimum to afford healthy food, a simple studio in a gated community for safety and other essentials.

Regrets:
  • Not working hard from day 1
  • Telling girls my real name
  • Considering tinder hoes as a girlfriend

I'm going into a lot of detail to your first question in one of my 2 ebooks that will be launched in July...

I wrote kindle books and ebooks many years ago and those that did badly (as in less than $100 in sales over the years) were centered around saving money and living cheaply in asia. Cheap ****s research on their own and will be very skeptical about investing even the smallest amount of money in books.

If you want to make Philippines related content and make money off it consider copying King Epic: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8p...gwyuYMg/videos

He sells premium content marketed via his YouTube channel and does well with it:

https://www.kingepic.com/bkk/

https://www.kingepic.com/premium/

https://www.kingepic.com/birthday/

His channel is probably demonetized because it's all 18+ kind of content but he makes his money that way.

The phils are a hard sell though because people consider it to be the trashcan of asia barely above cambodia, if they have even heard of it to begin with, so you will have to market it to guys as the better alternative to Bangkok and Pattaya, which again is hard because Thailand is a lot cheaper, easier to get to, more welcoming and less sketchy etc.

Re: Clueless kid moving to Manila - Never been to Asia before

Real question is why would anyone want to live in Manila for 600-1000$? Not trying to bash on your book, but the only pro I see why anyone would want to live there, is that its probably the best/easiest place in the world if you want to smash new girls all around the year.

With that kind of money you're pretty much sleeping in a car or homeless in the US. Anyone on disability or SSI is better off there IF they feel confident in keeping locals at bay, which most boomer grandpa types are absolutely awful at as they aren't used to living in low trust societies surrounded by untrustworthy and low IQ people that can be cunning none the less despite their general lack of intellect.

I mean, why would they choose Manila with that kind of money? Ofcourse it would be better in Manila than in the US.. But you have so many cities that are cheaper than Manila in SEA.

I'm not planning to focus on writing a large amount of ebooks but focus on Twitch and poker. I only want to write 2 ebooks and link them on my channels. Living cheap in Manila is the topic I'm the most experienced in and ofc most people watching my channels are already interested in the Phils.

Foreigners generally live most unbothered in capital cities world wide. The lower tier you go, the more racism and animosity you will be confronted with anywhere in the world.

$1 is all those cheap bastards would shell out for an ebook, maybe $2 if they're feeling frisky.

Mexico is more like what iLiveInAsia was saying. Mexico City is massive with 22 million people, but hardly any of the girls I meet are religious or have a conservative mindset. Super open to all foreigners and different lifestyles and tons of girls up for a casual bang who won't get super clingy and want you to wife them up. I've got a rotation of 4 FWBs now and they message me at most like once every 3 days to say hello and see if I want to meet.

However, you go to the 2nd and 3rd biggest cities in Mexico, both with around 3-4 million people, and it gets a lot more religious, conservative, and clingy pretty fast. Still friendly to foreigners though.

Mexico?? I thought we were talking about SEA. Anyway, would always choose the cheaper place If im on a budget, even if I have to deal with more conservative girls and racism.

You live in Mexico city? It sounds like a fun country

Easy to deal with as long as you are not the target of the racist

Re: Clueless kid moving to Manila - Never been to Asia before

Hi anyone knows if is possible to stay as tourist in Manila, and every month doing a visa run? They would suspect/ask something?

I read that you can extend your tourist visa, but I would like to know if is possible to do plenty of visa runs as well.

Not an expert at this, but I doubt it would be a problem. Why not just just extend it in PH?

Because If I'm moving there I'm planning to visit few surrounding countries, such as China, Taiwan and Malaysia.
I read you can extend the tourist visa in PH until 3 years, but don't know about the visa runs, I guess it will be fine though if you show them an onward flight or something.

You can almost extend forever. 2months, then 6 months if you want. Rinse repeat. If you stay longer than 6 months w/o leaving you need to get a police clearence which is easy but annoying.
Bottom line is getting visa/staying longtime is alot less hassle than in thailand for instance

Hi, but for example if you extend for 6 months it would be possible to get a reentry permit if you want to leave and come back to PH?

Also I read if you extend the Visa you can get and ID Card that is possible to open a bank account with that ID card.

Can you get the ID card without extending?

Also if you leave around every day 30 for the near countries and come back, they will suspect something if you leave for few times and come back without extend?

Ok I'm sorry for many questions, thank you see you later.

Re: Clueless kid moving to Manila - Never been to Asia before

there is no reentry in that sense, if you have a 6 month visa and you leave its as if u didnt have it.
No one cares how many times you come and go
