Re: Clueless kid moving to Manila - Never been to Asia before

iLiveinAsia the first question would be why are you cherry picking with London, one of the most expensive cities in the world? Where did anyone say Info was even considering London? Or is this just the most convenient for your argument?

Secondly, the kid is living (ok i dont read this thread so i dont know if he moved or not) in a shared apartment spending next to nothing in Manila, not in some super cheap (comparatively) SEA city even

so why does he now need to start living a 'non pauper' life

move back in with the parents, get jobs walking distance from home, work all the time, and then he can save

that is eating ****..... getting a nice apartment in downtown london, buying a car, and saving a lot in a short amount of time is not eating ****

I left the shared apartment in March 2017 and been living here for the past 17 months: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bb2W5IfjioA

(still spending next to nothing so your points stand)

It's a city where English language info is easily available and which a lot of euros know about.

Munich, Frankfurt and Berlin are a cluster**** of even worse proportions because you literately have to beg for shared housing (people play favorites, the demand is way higher than the supply and there is no young professionals shared housing culture like in London) as cheap housing hasn't been built in decades and what is available has all been allocated to rapefugees. It's arguably the worst time to be poor in Germany if you don't want to end up on the street. If you want a guaranteed apartment in these places 50k EUR is the absolute minimum income these days otherwise you'll comepete with 100 people for the same apartment (I kid you not).

Now you could say: Ok he could live in some smaller city but once you have lived in Bangkok or Manila for a year or more you don't really want to go back there.

He's living the chill life in a cheap studio apartment in a gated community in Pasig.

To have an equal lifestyle in a first tier city he'd have to have a 4 year degree and a couple years of experience.

not sure why you're so obsessed with him downgrading his life for many years in Europe

he is unlikely to upgrade his life that way and in fact in Europe native whites are on their way out either way just like in the US

you get shat on by feminist hags, the government, employers, you pay out of your ass for housing as everything cheap is given to rapefugees who lurk around all day in groups robbing people and raping women

some parts of Germany look straight up Afghanistan now, barely any whites in the streets in the afternoon

unless he has a plan to emigrate somewhere else I don't see the point in a life downgrade just to fulfill social expectations

Now is there a problem an extremely small section of people? yes. religion/police/integration is all part of that but does that mean its a no-go-zone living area. No. laughable to think so

I have been living in Asia since 7 years, always respected the local culture/religion from the country where I was living.

I imagine that you are too much brainwashed to understand it but the problem is not about being a minority the problem is about foreigners who don't want to be respectful/to integrate in the country where they live..
love the idea that the guy who grew up 10 minutes from birmingham is brainwashed but the guy whos never been and very obviously gets his news from places which have agendas and appeal to morons isnt.

Birmingham has gone from a pretty ****ty second city to a pretty good and improved over the past few years.

but then what do i know? i was too busy hiding away from the muzzie child rapists when i was growing up. afraid of all of them

Re: Clueless kid moving to Manila - Never been to Asia before

hey there, that discussion (to be comfortable at home or struggling in Asia) is one most of us face, and is very likely to be a "close call".

Now compare Info's life before and after. How much pussy do you think he'd get in Germany? Probably not much. I myself clean the house in Brazil/Asia, but had a hard time in Europe (they always think I'm arab lol).

Maybe k2d's advice to go back home and gather some money is a good idea... but I also understand infoshove's unwillingness to trade having acess to lots of pussy for a long term life improvement. I'll again use of my own experiences to explain his mindset:

When I started reading about pickup and getting girls (had banged only 3 at the age of 21), I got obsessed with sex. And why wouldn't I? I was something really new and that made me feel a boss. All those years of being a sexless loser were behind me. It took me 3 years and 70+ girls to chill a little bit more and stop caring about volume. AND I STILL WANNA GO BACK TO ASIA!

OP have fun with the girls and your life in Asia, man. But just don't forget that there's more to life and if sex is your priority, you'll not grow

Re: Clueless kid moving to Manila - Never been to Asia before

ILiveInAsia, you have no idea what you're talking about. I've lived and worked in Berlin and two second-tier German cities for almost a decade and made 2-2.5k euros/month after taxes, health insurance and everything. I've moved to HK now, because, among other things, they pay me insane amounts of money that will prolly allow me to retire very early in life, but in retrospect those 2-2.5k were enough to fund a quite juicy lifestyle, I've lived in nice 2-3BRs all the time by myself, and had a lot of extra money for hookers and ...., 2-3 yearly vacations etc. Admittedly extra money from online and live pokers helped, but even without you could just subtract some of the hookers and blow dept
And the danger from refugees is grossly overstated, yes some of them are scum (like the local population also) but as a whole Germany is very safe, even in my small hometown there is a huge refugee camp and it's a very safe place.
In my experience those that don't make decent money at their jobs have at least one (or multiple) of the following issues. 1) They don't want to move home in order to move up in their jobs, not even small distances, 2) They don't want to take (or are unable to take) responsibility of peeps working under them (those who are responsible for others are always better paid) or 3) they just suck at their jobs

Re: Clueless kid moving to Manila - Never been to Asia before

Berlin changed a lot in recent years. 10 years ago you could get really cheap studio apartments for 300 bucks or so but nowadays that's just not going to happen.

Anything for 800 EUR or less has dozens of people competing for the apartment and whatever really cheap becomes available gets allocated to rapefugees.

If you make less than 50k you'll need tons of luck or live with random creeps who want you to be their best friend that spends all your free time with them just because you live together.

Re: Clueless kid moving to Manila - Never been to Asia before

nice explanation, just a coincidence you happened to pick the most expensive city as being the only place he could live tho

lol @ comparing a gated community in pasig to a gated community in europe.... why can't people just compare apples to apples?

all he would need is any studio apartment anywhere

and im not hell bent on him going home, just saying its the most +ev play for him to make

right now he is living a bare bones SEA existence, sure its better than anything in the west but why not improve your situation and actually live a really good life for a really long time instead of just a pretty good one for who knows how long

two years aint that long, he is only 22 and knows what he can do in SEA and has the balls to actually move over, those three things put him way ahead of most guys

You'll need a 4 year degree and a few years experience to be able to make the 50k to afford a studio apartment in any first tier western European city these days.

Either way, done arguing here, not sure why you're so hell bent on making a point. He surely will have an easier time drifting in Manila than in a first tier European city.

Re: Clueless kid moving to Manila - Never been to Asia before

The whole debate is pointless b/c we don't even know info's life details. I think it's very likely that he's getting money from parents or some 3rd party. It's been mentioned a few times in this thread, and he's never denied it. If that's the case, then he'll probably be content just barely making ends meet in SEA and banging girls. He hasn't even posted any poker garfs lately so he's either playing a pathetic volume or around breakeven at best. Without knowing those details, it's harder to give accurate advice.

If he keeps going on like this, doing nothing all day, then it's gonna be hard as **** for him to ever go back to humping a normal job. Why go back to Europe or have any ambition of moving to a better country in Asia if you can get by doing very little? For some people, they are driven to improve their situation and willing to put in the work to do so, but info is clearly not in this category.

Fossil, you try to make it look like op is a major bum and he'll never amount to anything in life, but imo he's just young and not sure of what he wants, not all of us had things clear regarding our future and long term life goals back in our early 20s and imo that's perfectly fine.

Imo, op will keep having fun and banging girls/doing nothing all day until parents income is cut and he has to find a real job or until he finds something that motivates him.

I dont think op life is great and I dont think I would be happy doing what he does, but when you're in your early 20s, many things are "allowed" that are not when you go past the 25ish barrier imo.

Subscribed. I think the Youtube videos have potential. Someone posted that he either needs to be better or go fully autistic, but I think the juxtaposition of energy and confidence from a "white guy in SEA" roll with some signs of still being on the spectrum make it entertaining and less predictable

@Info Shove.

I think if I were you I would close this blog. Like if you are serious about staying for longer in SEA and doing some freelance job etc you kinda need to project a better image. Getting good money in this world is kinda 1/3 networking, 1/3 projecting you are competent 1/3 being very competent/expert in what you are doing.

This blog just doesn't monetize well and even might cut your prospectful oppportunities to get a side job/additional income. It is not like people just love to hire lazy, unmotivated slobs and this blog kinda project that image of you. It is nbd to be person like this but having people to know that and being open about it just doesn't help you.

And the people it attracts are either trolling you or wanna be degens (no offence).

I mean I know you are young but you really need to be more focused on projecting better image of yourself whether it goes to getting better girls to date with you or improving your financial situation. Just my 2c.

It's ok, only about 50 people have seen this blog, so little risk of an employer or potential gf reading it.

i think some of you need to think longer term.

yes this guy might have his own apartment and might have to share if in london, but in london he'd be gaining experience in a field, he'd be creating a network. he won't be sharing an apartment for the rest of his life.

by living a very basic lifestyle in london for several years he can save far more than he ever would blogging in the philippines or be a freelance "writer". he can still do his online marketing on the side.

Man I am reading it too and when I read it I miss my degen days. I said it lol. So I am on board as a Wannabe Degen (or married guy sometimes missing the good old degen days)

There is nothing wrong in my advice cause thats clearly something he needs to learn. Showing your true self is not worth it unless you are the super succesfull Alpha Guy.
It would make it a lot more sense for him to project more "the young professional traveling the world persona" than "the busto degen looking for cheap/free pussy".
And it has nothing to do with how his life really looks. Like he can just keep living his life just maybe not tell the whole world about it. I just don't see where is the +EV in doing it the way he does but hey I might be wrong.

Kinda seems dumb to tell him to start selling lies but thats what I would do if I were him (although hard to put myself in his shoes as I was never lazy).
The kid needs to learn how to network like a pro and project image that make people want to work with him/ do some business.
Thats like 70% of the success in life.

Re: Clueless kid moving to Manila - Never been to Asia before

I don't have anything to add to the London/Germany discussion because there's no way I'm going back to EU as long as there is still hope to improve my finances through online work (including poker), which there clearly is if I just fix my volume problem. I'm lucky to have a terrific opportunity to play against the biggest whales imaginable and in my current situation my volume is literally the only thing holding me back from success.

With my current work ethic I'd lose any desk job, not just fail online. My work ethic will have to change either way, and that's far more likely to happen working online in a country I love living in than working a regular job I hate in a country I don't want to be in. What's my motivation in Germany? To leave that hellhole and come back to Asia after 2 years? Lol, I would die inside before making it through the 2 years. On the other hand I love life in the Philippines and it's far easier to find motivation to stay here.
