It's not really a gf. He knows it will end at some point, but he enjoys some of the relationship aspects of having a gf and seems possessive so he will make her his gf for now until it no longer suits him at some point in the future.

Their shared interests include spending time outside of the bedroom, long walks on the beach, and him sending her long walls of text accusing her of being a lying ***** while she responds with 1 or 2 sentences then summarily ignores him like a boss.
