How you're gonna do that judging is gonna be based on the social norms of your immediate environment and your overall view on life etc. For instance if you're a depressed person you're gonna think everyone is out to get you. If you're from an Asian country, you're gonna be brought up within their shaming culture (PC countries like Canada are starting to become more and more like this); which is reinforcing "proper" behavior through shaming by your peers. You would then give a ****ton of value to what people think of you because that's how your value is defined.
