Her parents seemed like the nicest people ever, I don't think they'd hire some goons to kick my head in.

Actually the whole meeting was extremely positive and I'm shocked to hear they went from liking me to hating me afterwards. I met the parents, uncle, grandpa, siblings and cousins and we had great conversation. I even "met" the dead grandmother at the cemetery! The girl's mom told me 1 on 1 that I'm welcome to come visit them again anytime. Without me asking, she even explained to me how to get there by public transport next time so I save money on Grab.

I still hope I can get her parents to like me some day. Till then, I'll be meeting her without their knowledge.
