Hi, hey sorry to bother you but are you single can I get your number, you're cute, what's your name etc. She said wow yeah we saw you guys too over there. She was with a friend and I was with another guy, he got the other girl's number. Maybe that's less awkward 2+ guys approaching 2+ girls, it felt easier too.

She made some jokes about how people on the streets were staring but overall I disagree with Dante's theory that it's better to just hand a Filipina a note and quickly walk off 'to avoid awkwardness'. Imo just dress well, have a wingman and start a brief conversation then get their number / Facebook / Instagram etc.

There's a high chance they lose a paper note, text the wrong number, or are scared, lose their phone, tons of things can happen. I notice Philippines text messages sometimes don't even get delivered too.

I also called her number to make sure it worked.

Turns out she noticed us too, and was hoping we'd approach, which is probably the reality with a lot of Filipinas. Especially if there's 2 of them and 2 of you.

well you can do 1 month contract at half a dozen modern condos with siglo suites that are cheaper than your 60k/mo on a 6 month contract (480k / 8 = 60k/month)

https://www.siglosuites.com/ put dates in, it shows daily rate then click and choose monthly. rates around 48k - 57k a month

Gramercy, Milano, Trump Tower, Knightsbridge, Acqua, Azure, none are in the BGC but you wont like the BGC piepounder

some airbnb listings might be less, some won't be, depends how much % discount they give for monthly

I'm on a 27 BI upswing 2-tabling 60NL over the past 24 days. Running good at smaller stakes and running bad at higher stakes isn't that great, but I've improved my volume, strategy and mindgame so much over the past few months that I'm just looking forward to printing money in the future.

80NL in my last update was a typo, it's 60NL.

If only I could deal with the variance of handing notes to girls the same as with poker variance... I haven't received a single textback from the past 6 notes which I know is a small sample but it's still frustrating because I haven't handed out more than 6 in October. My volume is so low because I don't like Filipinas as much as I used to and it's getting harder to find girls I'd wanna give my number. Nowadays I'm handing out like 1 note in 2 hours at the mall. Which doesn't seem worth it given that I already have a GF and I'm slowly losing interest in Filipinas anyway.

GF's bed performance is getting better, she's learned to complain less and give more BJs. Still, I'm not that physically attracted to her or 99% of Filipinas anymore - their faces, their tanned skin (that I used to find sexy but not so much anymore), their accents... Half of the notes I hand out nowadays are to foreign Asian girls like Korean, Japanese or Chinese tourists despite the malls being packed with 99.9% Filipinas.

Being here for 9 months has changed my preferences in an unexpected way, I've grown tired of Filipinas but at the same time caught yellowfever for Northeast Asians. Ofc there's still some exceptions among Filipinas that I find super hot but they're really rare.

I got a new goal for the next 4.5 months: My rental contract in Pasig is expiring in late March 2018 and all I wanna do right now is grind hard, make a lot of money, save it and then in late March IF (not saying it's guaranteed) I have a decent liferoll, move to Korea, Japan or China depending on what my budget is by then.

Until then I'm staying where I am. It's cheap to live and save money here and it's still 100 times better than living in the West. And who knows, I might still be near-broke in March, then I'd just stay in SEA and be happy with it. I'd say I am happy here in the Philippines, but I feel like the grass is greener in NEA (Northeast Asia).

I don't know if the grass is greener on north east Asia, but women are definitely hotter that's for sure.

I'm no detective but I may have figured out why your text rate from notes has dropped off...

Sounds like a plan.

My highly subjective experience:

Korea - Fashion and status obsessed infantile princesses, negative association of western guys with US military servicemen, cock blocking local guys. If you aren't fashionable or very fit, chances are you'll not get laid easily in Seoul. Looks like a slightly nicer version of China. Overhyped place imo.

Japan - Girls are very hard to get if you don't speak Japanese. If you stick to the western hounds in Tokyo where girls go specifically to hook up with western guys you may get laid within a month. I wouldn't bother with Osaka or Kyoto. Best plan: Rent a room in a shared place and you pay close to your Pasig rate. If you bang rent a love hotel room.

China - The language barrier is huge. Studying Chinese at a university in a 2nd tier city would be the best plan. Expenses also close to Pasig level then. In Beijing or Shanghai you'd pay more for a room than for an apartment in a 2nd tier city and foreigners are dime a dozen. Girls are easy to get but can't **** (low libido, no interest in blowjobs, starfish sex, just super boring) + will try to lock you down asap. Chinese people in general also don't have great genetics, 8 out of 10 are butt ugly due to arranged marriages for many many generations. Pollution and greasy unsafe food doesn't help it either.

If you want girls that can **** this pretty much means slim western / eastern euro girls. In Asia it's a rare exception unfortunately.

Ukraine is SEA level cheap as well right now if you can handle it but given your young looks and their tendency to like tough guy igors who drive hummers it's hard to say if you'd get laid there or not.

That might be where that comes from but I would attribute it more to their xenophobic culture; Korea is perhaps the most xenophobic nation on the planet. You'd have an easier time breaking into Fort Knox than you would most Korean girl's panties.

+1

Let's be realistic here, the kid can't afford the countries he mentioned. Some parts of China, maybe. But afford the cost-of-living in Korea or Japan??? Not going to happen for this one.

The 1st time I went to Tokyo I was so excited obviously. I was out walking around and exploring any chance I had. My major disappointment was the lack of cute girls. There are a ton of dogs in Japan. Spend 4hrs on BKK public transportation and you'll see way more cute girls than if you spend 4hrs on Tokyo public transpo.

Thailand ain't what it was 10 years ago imo, no matter if you're talking BKK or Pattaya.

Vietnam has potential though.

as you can see the correlation between handing out notes to 'foreign' girls and your textback rate plunging.. Table selection is still key!
South Vietnam for what you are looking for girls wise / scenary wise and within your budget limitations.. but since you like interaction with your environment, language barrier will be tough... I don't thnk you gave yourself the best odds to enjoy the Phils. Try to learn some small Tagalog sentences to make acquaintance and it will be a good test of your ability to learn Vietnamese sentences as it will be harder and necessary.

Give Baguio city a shot for a real change before you choose to abandon the great value of the Phils, the cooler climate in baguio should stimulate your grinding energy with good results. Then scan burnham park there with your notes and see what happens.. take some warmer clothes with you !

Lower textback rate is probably due to choosing the wrong note color!

I dont recall seeing many hot girls on the public transport in Tokyo but I seen tons of hotties walking around. If you go out on a Saturday afternoon the Japanese all come out in cosplay in the Shinjuku area and its awesome. Then if you walk the entire nice trendy arts and shopping road from Shinjuku to Harajuku its loaded with Hot college aged girls. I do know what you mean though that amount of hot office working girls you see on the BTS in BKK is pretty absurd.

I didnt see that many when i was in Seoul. I also visited Seoul for a week in the winter time. Girls dont dress hot in the winter. Even in Michigan the difference between girls i see outside from fall time to summer is completely diff. BKK the weather is the same all year so you dont have that factor in play.

Funny info brought up the Chinese tourist. The Chinese tourist you see in BKK/Phuket/Pattaya in Thailand alot of time are absurdly hot. I think i brought this up in a thread about how i thought Chinese girls were so hot and i remember a few people who lived in China explaining to me their not really that hot when your in China. I'm just seeing the top % of the wealthiest girls from China which is leading me to think the girls from China are that hot.

I'd say like others you should try Thailand. Living in Japan or S.Korea is going to cost alot more then Thailand. The girls are going to be expect you to have more money then they would in a SEA country., Thailand has different styles of girls from the darker skinned girls, lighter skinned Thai Chinese girls, or even the hottest ladyboys in the world so you get a good variety of looks.

Am I theonly one seeing it as a problem that OP is making huge plans etc. while having his 2nd good month on the site he plays (and he plays there for like 6 months already) while still in the makeup and getting only like 50% of his winnings?

Info Shove you need at least 2-3 months with big winnings and better PC etc. and then when you finally play with your own money and get 100% of your winnings then yeah you can. But now grinding and getting better should be your main focus.

I think earlier ITT he went on like a $400 heater and went from being RIP to moving to a beach town, can search back if you like, but think its just the heater mentality talking. Would be pretty surprised if he just up and moved to Japan etc.

No, you're not. I've been vocal in this thread about the same issues. There is no positive ending to his time in PI and to even been thinking about moving to places with a significant COL of increase (like Japan and Korea) is absolutely absurd.

I disagree in a way because I do believe there is a happy ending of his story and he can achieve the success. What I ment is just his last post etc. is just "triumph of a hope over the experience" and when the downswing hits (and at some point it will) he will get crashed.

I remember listening to Nick Howard youtube video and he was mentioning living with a guy like that in Thailand for some time who was either king of the world or almost dying purely based on his poker results and the attitude like that will really crash you at some point and is not sustainable.

There is entire chapter in Mental Game of Poker about the confidence from Jared Tendler. He descirbes there the ideal confidence level which is somewhere between over- and underconfident. So you don't beat yourself up when you are losing and you are still objective but also you don't believe you are poker god when you hit the upswing.

There is nothing wrong with having a goal to live in some nice place, bang nice girls and make a lot of money. There is a problem when you start to expect it to happen because you had like 1-2 months great at poker. It might end really bad when the inevitable downswing hit and it always does.
