Friday ended up pretty tame. Went to a great izakaya with some guys from work, drank a bit, but nothing more than that. The izakaya was in the heart of The Combat Zone, which I may have previously mentioned. An area where the military used to go to hook, and is occupied by Filipina bars, and cheap booze. One guy and I swung over to one of the popular bars, called Little Manila (I think), and it was just quite depressing. Just a bunch of old dudes sitting, smoking, and playing dice. It kind of echoed what I had heard about The Combat Zone, that it is just kind of deserted now, and really not an area ripe for sin, like it once was.
PE: I didn't even know about yellow watermelons until Taiwan. I guess the biggest difference between yellow and red, is that the yellow is much sweeter, with people saying it has a honey taste of sorts. It's pretty ****ing delicious, but I gotta go team red any day of the week. Re: napkins, yeah it's a pretty big pain in the ass that there aren't just standard napkins everywhere. There is this beef noodle place I love, but it really irritates me when needing a napkin I either have to go up to some tissue dispenser on the wall, and in an undignified manner just stand there for 3 minutes, pulling single tissue out by single tissue. The good news is I still use regular toilet paper, also the squatters are few and far between in this city. I load up on paper towels for my apartment too, and have been known to resort to using those or McDonald's napkins to wipe my ass.
In Beijing, I wouldn't feel safe going out unless I had a pack of tissues or two in my pocket, since most bathrooms wouldn't have toilet paper. In Taiwan, this man roams tissue-less, comforted by the fact that he could walk into almost anywhere and take a somewhat civilized dump.
Boliver: Can pm you the name of the girl, looks like she is a ********** girl, which I've never used.
I'd say Siacoin was probably my lease researched investment so far, but a few things that I chose SC over Maidsafe, is Maidsafe seems like a bigger gamble currently and doesn't use proof of work. From what I've read, SC is much cheaper for uploaders, and Maidsafe has been described in a perpetual vaporware state. I bought some more, so am holding about 100k SC now. Pretty happy to get in at 6/10ths of a cent or so. Here is link to their Trello roadmap:

We have a four day weekend, so heading to a cafe for a bit to study. Had an offer to go to a potluck this afternoon, but feeling kind of guilty for lack of study the last two days.
