Yea when there's an APT, there's drastically more action. There are 16 tables at Resorts btw. Usually there are 2 or 3 50/100nl games from 7pm-2am or so. The rest are 25/50 ($.50/1). There are literally no games running before that and usually 1 game will run really late. Other info in my post above.

25k would be about the avg for a 1 year lease for a decent 1br. Short term goes up quite a bit.

You can check local buy/sell online sites for bedrooms in that area, or just contact a broker to help you find a room in that area, 25-30k sounds about right for a long stay near RWM.

25/50 and 50/100 with up to 100/100 plo is standard. Higher games did migrate to Solaire, so you can check over there for games. However, there's far less amenities in Solaire, no mall, no cinema, etc.

More locals, some foreign blood in the mix, it's a decent room imo, no tip, 5% rake, and no house players, gtd payout, safe.

From what I know, RWM does not have 16 tables. I think they had 15 and were cut down to 12 in the last rationalization process. I may be wrong, but from my last conversation with the room manager there a month or so back, I doubt they will be adding more tables anytime soon. Unfortunately, poker is not really a high priority for RWM.

I want to return to Manila, Philippines, hopefully in October. Can anybody please give me "Cliffs Notes" on the cash game scene in Manila, e.g., rake %, cap, min and max buy-ins for the lower NLHE stakes. Aside from Resorts World, does any other poker room in the Philippines have only 5% rake?

My understanding is all Live Poker is operated under the same organization and rake is uniform throughout the Philippines.

So what is this rake % & cap that is supposedly the same in all its poker rooms?

They all operate under Pagcor but however at least resort's world(though they have worst free servings in Philippinesasfar as I know) and Davao hold em poker club(have best free servings) had only 5% but almost all the rest take usual 10%

Caps should be same on all poker rooms(though might be bit different(higher) on PLO than texas) but depends on stakes as far as I know it is like

Best poker house in Phnom Penh, Cambodia (Riverking). NL hold’em and PL Omaha games. Lots of people with major cash play there. You can call Riverking for directions . 097 66 38 233 Nightlife here is great. Cheap alcohol and lots of women!!! Great place to settle down and play poker for a living.

About Phnom Penh, River King significantly increased its rake, so you will be looking at a 20$ capped rake. Not as appealing as it use to be...
