Need 24/7 delivery of food is there any places that does this?

I know pizza company and foodbyphone but both closes too early
Sunrise tacos delivers 24/7, they have great food. My bar is on Sukhumvit Soi 11, and they delivered to us at like 3 AM a couple nights ago. They have kick ass tacos and are open 24/7...next to the times square building.

It's the Fun House bar at the end of the Soi, between Bed Club and Q-bar. It's basically like Cheers there. Half of the regulars are poker players, mostly from the states. We'll be playing beer pong there tomorrow night after our pool tournament if you want to join. I'll be there around 10 or so dressed as a pimp for Halloween...not much of a change because technically speaking I guess I am a...oh whatever.

Degen won't be there as he's traveling now, but he's an occasional Fun House guy as well. It'd be nice to meet up some 2+2ers there.

Hey...My bar is painted like a 12 year olds birthday party...

Yeah, Bangkok does have everything at your fingertips. That's one of the reasons why I call this place home now. I do miss friends and family, but going back to the states for a couple weeks now just bores the hell out of me. Do any you guys speak/read Thai?

where should i begin? should i stay in bangkok for long, or venture off elsewhere?

I'd designate a week in Bangkok, a week on the islands, and then keep a week free to play it by ear. Flights are really cheap and you can book them the day before.

You want to stay as flexible as you can, but definitely see the islands and enjoy the bangkok nightlife.

Woops, misread that. I thought you were here for three weeks. Either way, what I've said basically stays the same. Play it by ear, and no need to lock yourself in with set plans.

So this my last night before leaving tomorrow, staying at the hotel I just took a few pics. Ill post some to get some feed back on the following:

-do I fit thailand?
-done enough not to look like a backbacker?
-now that youve seen me what hotel should I stay for the first night(s)

I'm pretty sure that with better hair, pink sunglasses and a cigarette you could fit the place pretty well.

Seriously, of course you can fit lol: no dreadlock.

Bangkok is an acquired taste. Try it for a few nights but if you aren't feeling it then make a B-line for the islands.
This is definitely true. Bangkok is like any other major city, some people love it, some people hate it. Throughout this thread, I've seen a number of posts like "Hey guys in February I'm moving to Bangkok for 8 months. What's a skytrain?"

Stay in the place a while before committing to living there.

best way to visit bangkok is to only book a 1 way ticket there. and then blow your whole bankroll on bad play and booze in 2weeks
then u have to love it.
It's pretty hard to hate anyways.
