We're a bunch of mid 20s guys and are going to spend a couple of weeks in Thailand(Phuket)
Do you think our choice is good(I've got some feedback Pataya is better considering Nightlife/Women etc.)We are also interested in beaches etc.,cause we dont plan on drinking for whole 2 weeks non-stop.
We have a quite decently looking house for 12 ppl for around 500 $ a night- how is this price compared to others? Any answer is appreciated.
We will be travelling mid end January-Mid February

I would say that Pattaya would be a better bet for you guys for nightlife. If you value beaches, go to Phuket and go to the islands close by. (phi phi, krabi, similan)

My tourist visa expires on the 24th and travelling out the 25th.
Will that cause any big problems or just a 500 baht fine or how does that work?

Thanks in advance.

you ll have to pay 500 baht before you can get stamped out of thailand, if you travel by road you ll have to get in an office for that , that s pretty straightforward.

FWIW if you overstay by one day it they do not fine you if you are flying out, by land is a different story.

Is there any evidence that a drug dealer is working together with the police? I'm just asking because I had to leave all my weed in my homecountry when I came here. (I'm in Bangkok at the moment )

I'm confused on the whole moneybooker thing. If you open a Thai bank account and have Thai residency can you transfer money to/from pstars to the Thai account? How do you get the money on/off the website?

Also, I'd want to be able to get the money when traveling, not in Thailand. Is that an issue?

I overstayed by like 4 hours and got charged. Train hit Malaysia around 4am. Overland--confirming the overland part of your post, not disagreeing

1. people usually overestimate how much it actually rains when they just hear it is "rain season" that it must be raining 24/7 when that is far from the truth

2. on paper september is by far the rainiest month of the year in bangkok so if you compare september to the better months (december-march) you could say it is a bad month to visit

3. whether the rain might ruin your holiday or not depends on your plans. if you are just going for the nightlife/shopping etc i cant see the rain as a problem. you would be moving from a to b with bts/taxi/mrt. i dont even know what type of stuff is there to do in bkk that rain might ruin apart from some temple visits

living in thai about 2 years, never worry about rain. But in BKK actually stronger than in Pattaya. Anyway in Thai rain often short and not every day, just few times at week.

The rain will make your trip less enjoyable at times and become a nuisance, but its not a game ender. For example as a resident of bkk I tend to avoid going out on rainy nights as it can be a pain in the ass, but if I was here on vacation there is no way some rain would stop me and I would still have a killer time.

So there are a ton of activities such as beautiful parks, outdoor markets, walking around and exploring the city that might get momentarily stopped. But if you are flexible and dont have to follow a jam packed schedule you can easily make it work with a little creativity. There is always sun in thailand.

During rainy season, ive ran into travelers who came to thailand just for the beaches. Many of them were only here for 1 maybe 2 weeks and were a little bummed out. But if your traveling outside of bkk for islands/beaches/waterfalls you just have to roll the dice and enjoy what ever adventures you run into.

Be extremely cautious and use your best judgement man. Its not a laughing matter in Thailand. If you havent been told I would avoid buying from taxi/tuk tuk drivers and always partake in that activity in privacy.

Would anyone in Bangkok be interested in a good deal on piracetam? I have a very reliable source in Vientiane and I could give you a considerably lower price than what you'd pay in Thailand. PM if interested, I'll be in Bangkok on Wednesday or Thursday. I can also get snus for you if you're having trouble finding it.
