tell him you'd pay 12k to a stranger but only 3k to him cause he's a "FRIEND, FRIEND" of yours.

@ hektor - i'm pretty sure most of the custom tailors in bkk are generally no good. i wouldn't buy anything from them...especially a random one. do your research brahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Embassy Fashion @ Lang Suan Soi 1. Pretty pricey, but real tailors and good quality no ********, no haggling. You can get a small discount when u buy multiple items though. Bought my shirts there couple years back and I'm still wearing them.

5 or 10. 5s are yellow, 10s are blue.

Me and Danny got shirts made at Embassy, but they screwed up our order pretty badly (used my measurements for Dannys shirts). After they got that right, some of the shirts still wouldn't fit well, whereas others were fine, which is weird because the measurements were supposed to be the same for all shirts. The whole process took ages, and despite the owner being a cool guy, I didn't really like the guy taking the measurements who seemed to care more about just getting us through the door than if the work they did was actually good quality. Embassy is prolly still better than a lot of the more touristy ones, but they also carry a price premium so I thought the level of service we got wasn't satisfactory at all.

I've had some shirts made at Narin Couture, on Sukhumvit between soi 8 and 10. No negotiating, no annoying guys standing outside. Also a bit more pricy than you'd get from the average tailor (2k-3k/shirt), but I was very satisfied with the result.

Oh, and a week is enough time.

i saw some great suits while i was over there, i'm buying next time over there for sure.

one night i was walking down chaweng road in samui i got the usual the "hey brother, where you from?" from one of the indian guys. i carried on walking down ignoring him he shouted "do you not know english" i shook my head. the indian dude then shouted "you should learn it then!"

i lol'd all the way home.

ultimate cool story bro.

that was definitely the most annoying thing about all of thailand.

theyve bribed someone at the immigration office and probably a doctor also so they can give out these visas, and yup they want 10k for 60 days extentions and 12k for 90 days at the travel/visa/agency

gotta think little bit more, just hate the trip to laos so much

why on earth would you even consider dealing with someone that has such a ridiculous line? there is zero chance that you get a good deal, and a 90%+ chance that you are unhappy with the transaction when it's complete. (leaving only a 10% chance that you are happy with the bad deal you get is probably low considering that you seem to be swallowing his instant 60% student/friend/handsumman discount line... but i'm gonna give you credit anyway)

how is the snake and spider situation in thailand ? Are they regular guest in your rooms ?

Snakes are a bit more common if you live actually in the jungle, haven't seen many spiders, there are a ******** of Geckos though, they probably eat most of the insects.

depends where you live. i had a massive tarantula in my room in a beach bungalow on koh samet. if you live in a house you'll probably have an insect problem. if you live in an older condo you might as well. i live in a new condo on a high floor and haven't seen even ants.

no snakes tho afaik just spiders and other large insects.

I live on the outskirts of Pattaya.I have a house.

Ive had 3 different type of snakes here in a year.
Golden tree snake(had a baby in my house, and 2 outside, look scary but harmless) Green tree snake, and a Russells viper, both in my front garden.

Russells is the biggest killer in Thailand i think, evil looking thing.
I just put the hose on it,and it went away thank fk!

No spider's,there rare here.
