I´ve never been to thailand, I m looking for a place where I can grind and relax, but not far from some other 2+2ers, a house next to the beach would be nice, place has just to be nice price isnt that important. And how is the internet connection in thailand how fast and how stabel?

Has anyone played live cash games on Koh Samui? I am thinking of playing in them soon. I have a few contact numbers for games in Lamai and Fisherman's Village but would like to know if any posters on here play in those games. Any information will be great such as blinds level, standard etc.....

You can rent motorbikes on Samui for around 150 Baht per day. Dont pay any more than 200.

If you are wanting to rent one for a long stay, hit me a PM, as Ive got friends who rent them out for longer term, 2 weeks+ etc.

As an American, I was wondering what banking options I would have in Thailand - specifically Pattaya. I have heard that there is an HSBC in Bangkok, but not in Pattaya. Are there any issues with depositing checks from poker sites or receiving funds from them via wire transfer? Also, what documentation would I need to start up the account. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
