Do anyone coming from US the next 4 weeks want to make some extra money by bringing with you a thin motorcycle jacket, motorcycle pants and 1 sportbars?

Just PM me for more information.

Im based in Phuket, but I can also go to Bangkok and pick it up.

Non of this items are available here, and the duty on clothes is massive..

5. yes, the gyms are good. 10-90 pounds dumbbells. 3000 baht for 3 months at chalong gym. They also sell protein powder, but no use for this since eggs, chicken and fish is pretty cheap and much better taste IMO.

Nai harn gym should also be good, maybe better, but I have not tried that one.

it seems like people pick gyms based on whats convenient. staying in Kata, Don's Gym is just fine.

I went more times than both of you, and Don's gym is a ****hole compared to Chalong gym, it is worth the extra xx km drive from Kata.

That's a bit harsh. Don's gym is adequate, but not optimal. Chalong gym is actually fairly good by any standards. Don's only sells Musashi protein supplements which are pretty expensive, I haven't checked out the stuff at Chalong gym but I think it's a lot cheaper.

Yeah Chalong gym sells some no-name protein powder that is relatively cheap (still way more expensive than in Europe). They also make shakes with fresh fruit etc. there and has more/better gym equipment than any of the other 5-6 gyms I've been to on Phuket.

also badge, one thing that I haven't been able to find anywhere on Phuket is gym chalk, so you should bring it if you need it.

Any 24 tables grinders in Thailand ?
I play NL200 and if there are no good tables then NL100 24 tables on "standard" 1x 30" and 2x 20" monitor setup.

However I don't really know how much is it going to cost me to move all this monitors and PC from UK to Thailand Maybe I would be better off by buying new monitors there or something ? Any advice ?

Also what is the best website to find apartment for at least 6 months in Phuket ?

I have no experience with monitors, but electronics are more expensive over here, but theres a couple of options:

1: bubble wrap ur monitor and put it in your suitcase and hope it doesnt break
2: buy a monitor over here - either new or second hand, but it will be pretty pricey (probably 10%+ more than the same item in UK)

Are you bringing a desktop PC? why not just buy a laptop?

Can anybody recommend good MuayThai gym in Phuket that would be good for a complete beginner (to any sort of fighting!). Im interested in taking it up as a challenge away from poker - get in shape, meet more people etc.

Ive had my eye on one in particular but would welcome some alternative suggestions.

Cheers

22" 1920*1080 monitors seem to be very common here, i've never seen anything larger, and i have done quite a bit of shopping around.
IMO airlines are much happier about bringing monitors than you might imagine. National flight between CM and BKK, we carried our on handluggage, and put them in the overhead lockers.
I think airlines often make provisions for business type items (laptops, monitors etc)
- Phone them, you will find out
