You can do account to account transfers from any ATM (between banks), but you need to get one of your own ATMs (At least for Kasikorn). Limit per transaction is 20K

I haven't figured out the unit price either. Ours was 10.8k for last month. But we have a rather large place and used to have czglory.

you need to go to a bank, or go to a "CDM" they are cash deposit machines. They are not at every ATM, but they are usually in groups of three, ATMs, CDM, and passbook update. This is your best bet.

anybody with a red stamp doing/done a visa run recently?

I'm not sure where to go. Laos was good for double entries but last time I went they gave gf and I the red stamps of doom. Reading up on thaivisa it seems a couple of guys have been refused visas there now, but tbh I'd refuse visa on sight to like 95% of the poor sods I've met from thaivisa so I dunno.

I have the cash. I just want to deposit it to the guy's account. Can I go to a teller and do so without a Kasikorn account?

It would be interesting to know how this works out for you as ive heard about the red stamp and thailands visa laws are seemingly everchanging. i recommend you call Claudio at thaivisaservice.com - 081-8154803 hes this falang dude that owns probably the biggest visa run service in bkk. ive used it for a year now and he is always up on the "visa game". tell him your situation and he could give you the best plan or update on where to go to get that visa. theres always a way. gl

Just walk into any K-Bank and tell them the account number and give them the money. Easy

ugh! the protests are still going on in a noticeable force? Any idea for how much longer and which areas are affected?

Also, anything bad ass planned in BKK coming up soon. I'll likely fly up on the 8th or 9th and be there for a few days. See you BKK guys soon.

haha, yeah I've been using Claudio/thaivisaservice for a bit over a year as well. Wonder if I've ever bumped into you. Last time I spoke to him he mentioned it would probably end up fine so long as they were able to charge for visas, but it looks like Thailand is going back to free tourist visas so I dunno. I emailed him last night.

Its a ping pong ball opened and filled with powder (most likey firecracker powder) or petrol then tossed and detonating on impact. Most tend to be very large firecrackers. OBV they can be very harmful if detonated in the wrong spot near people.

yep Claudio is the man far as visa stuff. If we had bumped into each other on a visa run you probably would've known already as i have the tendency to link up with others on the trip and form a 1 night force in order to RUN LAOS..lol felt funny saying that but yeah i actually really enjoy Laos visa runs(once you get there)and have had some crazy nights going to 3-4 discos that all worked out pretty interestingly. but yeah dude i think giving him a call is best. my guess is he will say its okay to just go back to Laos regardless of the red stamp as chances are hes tested someones passport who has it already. either way drop a lil message on here to let us know how it worked out. chokdee kap
