Hi people, I apologize for the question as I suppose it's been answered multiple times, but here goes: I'm visiting family in Laos pretty soon, and am looking for a cheap flight to Thailand from Europe for end of april/early may. I currently live in France, but can leave from anywhere <1500 km away from Paris if it saves me some money. So far I've found some flights around 600 euros return, is there anyway I can get that price down? Which city/company do you recommend? Cheers!
Jeff

600e is pretty good price for return imo

you wont get under that if you dont find some good promotion where the dates match

Hey guys,

Can anyone recommend any short term studio/1-br condo/apartments, or serviced residences in BKK?

I'm looking to stay for about a month maybe two.

How much should I be spending for a nice place in good location with pool and gym?

I don't think student is a good one because if they check into it (they won't) you have no student card or proof ect. I just put investor.

look for charter flights on their respective website - you wont find these on the big search engines. Some of them well have 2, 3 or 4 weeks return tickets for 400-500 euros (From Denmark anyway. its possible you can get it cheaper?)

PS. you do risk being stuck with drunken tourists who brawl, shout, have foodfights etc for the whole flight, and while it's no fun being stuck 11 hours with monkeys like that I still think it's worth the risk to get a direct flight

Anyone have some recommendations of what to do for a couple of days in Bangkok with my mom? She gets in on the 10th and I think we'll stay 2 days in Bangkok before heading to Phuket for songkran and some beach time. Of course we'll be back in Bangkok for the end of her trip to do some shopping.

So, what are some essential things for her to see/do? Where is a good area to book the hotel to make all of the activities more convenient?

Thanks for any tips.

So my rent is due, my roommate who usually pays it is out of town, and I'm surrounded by useless (English-speaking) people here.

I need to deposit the cash to a Kasikorn bank account. Can I do this via any old ATM? Must I go to a Kasikorn teller? Are banks open Sunday?
